Axel stared at the bright street light as he rode through the streets of Seattle.

"Be careful. I heard there's a bunch of murders happening here. Edward told me not to go here but-"

"Let me guess..." He paused dramatically "He doesn't control me because I'm a strong independent woman-" Axel laughed when she jabbed him in the side.

"Shut up. You won't be talking when this independent woman kicks your ass." Bella said snorting.

"Ok, Swannie girl. I see you." He said in a teasing voice as they stopped by the mall.

Axel hopped out and opened the door for Bella.

"Thank you." She said shyly as she took his hand.

"No problem, M'lady." He said in a southern drawl kissing her knuckles.

"You've been around Jasper too much." She said bashfully as her cheeks became a light pink.

"Let us go! I need some badass clothes anyway." Axel said.

Somewhere not too far a certain red head sat with her boyfriend. The army behind them was extensive. People from many different states that she'd collected during their trip.

Not too far away from them on the top of the mall, a few black cloaks sat in wait. They were curious about how this battle would go down.

"Jane?"

"Yes, Alec."

"This is far too public. We need to take control now." Her brother responded.

"Trust me. Maybe they can get rid of two problematic humans for us." She looked down staring at Axel critically, "Well, a human and a half breed."

"I like this one!" Bella chirped before sighing, "Edward would never approve of a crop top."

"If he's that insecure about his woman then he needs some therapy. You are your own person." Axel stated tapping the mannequin.

"You're right."

"You think we should've taken Jacob with us?"

"Why?" Bella paused.

"Just a really bad feeling-" Axel paused when he saw an army of 15 human shaped auras. There had to be more..."Bella... I want you to lock yourself in a changing room and cover yourself in clothes."

"What? Why?"

"Just do it-" Right at that moment, the lights all over the mall went out. The cashier looked up in shock as well as the other patrons.

Axel looked at her then at the ceiling before pushing Bella lightly into the changing room. "I'm not gonna go down easily but I'll be damned if you die."

Bella flinched as she heard screams.

"Nose on the ground, Bell." She did as he said and he threw clothes on her to cover her scent and block the door.

"What about you?"

"Lock it." Bella shook her head and Axel groaned. "Bella, stop being stupid."

The brunette glared at him through the pants on her head before closing the door and locking it.

The human ran out and was confronted by 2 red eyed adult men. The men that he thought were dead. The men that tried to molest Bella.

"Ok. Let's talk about this..." Axel started before they growled. The boy took off as fast as humanely possible. "Man, fuck this shit."

Axel started to dial for Jasper but dropped his phone as he slipped on the blood splattered everywhere on the ground and walls. He knew these newborns were either playing with him or leading him somewhere....

Jasper sped going 100 down the highway as Sam and the pack ran in the forest next to him. Their large eyes were the only thing visible in the trees.

"The newborns are going to kill him!" Alice said frantically squirming uncomfortably in her seat.

"No, they won't." Jasper said speeding past 100 into 110.

Axel gasped running frantically as a woman tackled him growling. He yelped holding her back by the neck.

That's when he decided to break his mental code and slam her into the ground.

Axel gritted his teeth and pushed her into the railing.

Her head wirled around "I'll kill you!"

"Not if I kill you first!" Axel screamed kicking her off the side railing.

She fell to the ground catching herself and looking upwards at him with a vicious glare. Axel held onto the railing wincing as the burn made itself instantly apparent. He never did like to play on the monkey bars.

The other vampires smirked stomped on Axel's hand flinging him off the railing and all he felt was weightlessness.

There was a growl and he yelped out as he slid off the soft surface that broke his fall and hit the ground on his arm.

"Axel!" He heard Alice's voice rush over to him.

"Alice." He winced as the searing pain spread up his arm.

"Don't move it, it's definitely broken. Your hand is also shattered." She said softly laying it over his chest. Paul sniffed at them for a moment before running off.

"Bella is in danger."

"Edward and the rest are handling the rest of the newborns." The vampire picked him up and ripped his shirt off to make a temporary sling.

"Thanks, Alice. That was one of my favorites." He groaned jokingly.

"Times like this, you remind me of Emmett. Making jokes at the wrong time." He got on his feet with a slight limp. Alice watched him worriedly.

"Where's Jasper?"

"Fighting with the wolves. I'm taking you to the car." Alice said sliding her arm around him.

"Fuck." He growled as he felt his body explode in pain.

"Are you taller?" She asked trying to take his mind off the pain.

"How the fuck would I know?" He laughed dryly.

"No need to curse- OH FUCK!" She dodged as the newborns ripped the escalator from the foundation. The entire thing came down on top of them and into the glass. "Goddamnit! What enemies did you make!?"

Axel rolled them over as the glass crashed to the ground before smiling sheepishly. Paul snarled from the shadows pouncing on them and ripping their heads off with ease.

"I'll protect you, Alice." He said kissing her before stumbling to his feet and beginning his running limp over to the free escalator.

He ran up despite Alice's protest from the floor below. He would get to Victoria himself. He had a idea of where she was.

He blinked furiously before he saw wolf sized auras, some human sized... Axel growled when he saw an aura sitting in a chair.

He would kill her himself.
