We're the fucking
rejects of this shady world
that only listen to music about
social alienation and all
that good melancholy shit
and we act like edgy cunts
who overdose on lithium
and we look deader than
a meth addict
and we only wear flannels
and ripped jeans
and oversized t shirts
because we don't conform
to your consumerist fashion
and we reek of loathe
and angst but
it smells more like
teen spirit to me
and you might think
we're just a bunch
of self absorbed misfits
but we're better than
all those fake motherfuckers
and all those posers
jumping on our bandwagon
Not sure why I wrote this. I guess I just really like grunge music lol and honestly I miss the 90s and bands like Nirvana and Alice in Chains who pioneered the grunge scene. Rip to Kurt Kobian and all the other great musicians of that era. Your contributions to rock and metal alike will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace forever.
