About half an hour later the three were at that forest.

"Oh, see who's here!" Maleficent shouted.

"Hi, mom."

"And you think you can beat all of us?"

"I don't, 'cause I know we will."

The battle started. The purple-haired girl and her mother transformed into dragons. The actual fight was between them because from the first two minutes all the other villains were lying on the ground, paralyzed from the curse of Hades' ember.

Everything looked like Mal was about to win, but then Maleficent burned her daughter's wing. She lost control and fell on the ground and turned human. The purple-haired girl realized that there's a big wound on her arm.

Hades saw that, too and started shouting at his wife, ex-wife, whatever. "She's your child. Don't you think it was enough for her you telling her what to do or beating her if she does the things differently than you? Don't you think sixteen years were enough? Why you have to kill your own daughter? That will not make you happy! I finally had a chance to meet her and she's an amazing human being not thanks to you!" when he finished his statement Evie used her mirror. "Mirror, mirror in my hand turn that villain in the smallest lizard in the land!" it didn't work. But Maleficent for the first time got emotional and turned to human. She tried to do something like a spell, but the Hades trapped her into a cage.

Mal was bleeding a lot, so, her dad picked her up and asked Evie for the nearest hospital.

"I'm completely fine! I don't need a hospital!" the purple-haired girl barely managed to say.

"Oh, yes you do!" Evie said.

At the hospital.

"How is she?" Evie asked the doctor nervous about her best friend.

"Queen Mal is pretty fine, but it took fifty-two stitches to close that big wound."

"Okay, can I see her?"

"Sure"

The blue-haired girl the room that Mal was in.

"Hey M, how are you feeling?"

"I'm okay, but can you believe that my own mother tried to kill me?"

"I know, It's hard to believe, but true."

"And now I don't know what are we going to do after the villains have stolen their stuff!"

Suddenly the girls heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" said Mal.

Ben walked in. "Hi, my queen how are feeling?"

"I'm okay. I mean, as okay as I can be."

Ben tried to massage his girlfriend's shoulders, but she screamed from the pain.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!"

"Don't worry it's not your fault, I just got fifty-two stitches in my arm."

"Fifty-two?!"

"Yeah, but it's nothing, you haven't seen my mom angry at me, beating me on the isle where there are no hospitals," Mal said.

"Your childhood was awful..." Ben carefully hugged her.

"I can leave you two alone, if you want," Evie said.

"Oh, sorry E, so, did you came here for something else Ben?"

"Actually, yes...but it can wait until you get better."

"I'm completely fine! Tell me!"

"Well...we decided to execute your mother..."

"WHAT?!"

"I know it's hard, but Auradon was in danger many times thanks to her."

"But, I can protect Auradon from her!"

"Open your eyes! This time you survived with fifty-two stitches, but next time maybe you won't survive! I'm worried, Mal! I want to protect you!"

"I know she's evil, but that's my mom Ben!"

"I'll just go out for a minute," Evie said and quietly walked out.

"Everyone deserves a second chance!" Mal shouted and walked out, too.

"Mal, wait! You must rest!" Ben tried to stop her, but she was already far away. "Ugh, I'm an awful king and boyfriend!"
