"M, I think should tell Ben about the baby." Evie said while doing her nails.
"But what if he is not ready to be a parent? Or what if he doesn't want to have kids at all? Or what if..." the blue-haired girl cut off Mal.
"But what if he is ready? I mean you're married. M, there is no perfect time to do such a thing as telling someone you're pregnant, you just have to tell him. Don't worry! Everything will be fine! I can see how you look at each other that's pure true love."
"Thanks, E, but I found out like a week ago. It can wait for later, can't it?"
"Pretty sure that it can wait a bit, but just don't wait until he can guess on his own, like you're going to 'grow' during the next few months." Mal tried to hide that she was laughing, but she couldn't.
"Don't worry he'll definitely know before my stomach gets too big. Speaking of the devil, I think there is a slight bump, but I might be just imagining."

Evie looked at Mal. "Actually, yeah there is. How have I missed that?!" she said. Then Evie saw how Mal's face turning as white as a clean canvas. "I...I meant just a bit, like it's almost invisible." the purple-haired girl raised an eyebrow. "Fine, it's maybe more than a bit, but look from the good side - if I noticed now, then Ben and everyone will need at least a week or two to see it."
"You're right, but how am I going to hide this?"
"Oversized clothing!" the blue-haired girl said and started sketching an outfit.
"I don't know what I was going to do without you."
"Cause you're a part of me so you can find me in the space between." Evie started singing.
"You'll never be alone No matter where you go." Mal continued.
"We can meet in the space between." they both finished and huge each other.
"You know what, I'm going to tell Ben today. I can't keep this a secret forever. Plus the baby is fifty percent his and I want us to go to the doctor together."
"Sounds right to me. Ask him on a date, then tell him. I'll help you get ready."
"Sure." Mal took her phone. "Hey, Ben, I've been wondering if you would like to go on a gate with me," she said. "How about 3?" He said something. "Oh, fine then 4, good." then she ended the call. "Okay, so we are having a date to prepare for - at 4 by the enchanted lake." she told Evie.
"Well, let's get started then."

Ben went to the enchanted lake to see that his wife was already there waiting for him.
"Hi!" he said.
"Hello, Ben." Mal said and kissed him.
"Unusual choice of clothing. Is there anything special?"
"Oh, I thought you won't notice. Yeah, actually, there is." she was about to tell him that she was pregnant when it started raining heavily. "Seriously?!" it was meant to be just for herself, but she said it out loud.
"Don't worry, can go somewhere inside. And we can continue our date." Ben said and gave Mal his jacket.

The couple was now in Mal and Evie's dorm, wrapped in towels and the girl was drying her hair. Evie went on a date with Doug, so Mal and Ben could have a little privacy. When Mal was done with her hair Ben asked her what she wanted to tell him.
"Well, I'm..." the girl was interrupted by a knock on the door. "You've got to be kidding me!"
"I'll take that as a 'come in'." a voice said and opened the door.
"Dizzy? What are you doing here?"
"Well, Evie had to give me my nail polish back and... wait, aren't you supposed to be on a date?"
"Yes, we are, but it's raining outside."
"Yeah, really heavily." Ben added.
"Oh, that's bad, but still can I get my nail polish?" Mal climbed down from her bed and went to Evie's desk. "Here you go." she said after passing Dizzy the little bottle. Then the kid left.
"So, what you had to tell me?" Ben asked.
"That I'm..." there was another knock on the door. "No! No! No! I just give up!"
Evie went inside. Sorry if I'm interrupting something, but I forgot to give Dizzy my nail polish back." the next moment Ben's phone started ringing.
"Hello, yes it's King Benjamin. Okay, I'll be there." he ended the call. "Sorry, emergency council meeting. I have to go, but I promise I'll come back later." then he kissed Mal and went somewhere.
"It's all my fault, isn't it? I'm so sorry, M."
"It's not yours, just when I try to tell Ben something happens - first the rain, then Dizzy, then you."
Evie sighed. "It seems like the universe tells you to wait." then they both started laughing.
"Well, if the universe tells me to wait, then who am I to argue with it. Let's watch a movie! What about Snow White?"
"Ugh, I have watched it with Uma not so long ago."
"Fine! Then you know what, I'm gonna educate myself for my husband's parents by watching Beauty and the Beast."
