Mal was at Evie's house. They were about to talk for Mal's wedding dress and the decorations.
"You ready to see it?" Evie asked excitedly.
"Just show it E!" the purple-haired girl said with the typical amount of excitement for her when it is about fashion.
"Ta-da!" the blue-haired girl squeaked.

"Evie, that dress size is for a 3 years old toddler!"
"I know, but I was awake the whole night to do this."
"That's not normal for you! Where is the talented, crafty Evie I know? Tell me the reason!"

"There is definitely a reason!"
"Okay, Doug and I had a fight last night."
"And what was it about?"
"Well, he wants to become a science teacher, but I need a person to help me with Evie's 4 hearts, so, basically we argued about that and then he took his things and went somewhere and he's not answering my calls and I'm really scared and I was awake the whole night because of this and then I realized that I have to make your dress and..."
"Oh, E you just had to say this! It's okay, plus the dress can wait, I mean if Ben loves me he can marry me even if I'm wearing T-shirt and jeans!" Evie couldn't stop her laughing.
"M, fashion doesn't work like that! It's called a wedding dress because it has to be a dress!"
"What about wedding casual outfit?"
"How to say this easier? You. Can't. Wear. T-shirt and jeans. At. Your. Wedding!"
"Okay, but if it's hard for you to make it - just say! Now, the Doug problem!"
"What about it?"
"You have to get back together! And I know it's hard having a business even before graduation and having to do it on your own, but look from Doug's point of view, when you have a family business and many of the family members work in it, it's risky 'cause if you go bankrupt you will lose all your money and won't be able to raise children or live normally."
"Oh God, that makes sense! I'm such an idiot!"

"Yes, I am! And now the person I love is somewhere because of my stupid, selfish thinking!"

Mal hugged Evie. It was one of those hugs that you want to last forever.
