"What?! It's already 5:30!" the girl said and turned off her alarm. "Just remember that this is the last year of school," she told herself. Mal got up from her bed feeling a bit nauseous. "And don't forget to drink less next time you're at a party."
The purple-haired girl got dressed and put her hair into a bun.

She was just about to leave the room to find Evie or Fairy Godmother, but then Ben woke up.
"You're leaving without giving me a kiss? Oh, I'm so sad!" he said being dramatic then laughed.
"Oh, you're awake!" she said and gave him a quick kiss. "Now, I must go because I'll be late."
Mal went to Auradon prep. Everyone was there obviously waiting to find where their dorms are.
"Oh Mal, you're here!" FG said.
"Hello, Fairy Godmother!" Mal replied.
FG cleared her throat. "Hello, students of Auradon prep! For some of you this it's the last year here, and for some the first. No matter which is yours I wish you all luck and good grades. Now, the dorms!" she said and started reading her list.
"Lonnie and Jane - dorm 732 Audrey and Cindy - dorm 459 ... Dizzy and Celia - dorm 734 Mal and Evie - dorm 733 Uma - dorm 865"
then the woman gave the students schedules of their classes and left.
"We're neighbors!" Celia said looking at Mal and Evie.
"And we're sharing a dorm!" Dizzy told Celia, her best friend. The friendship between those two was adorable, something like Mal and Evie, but a younger version.
"Let's go check our dorms!" Mal said.
"Sure, also I made a surprise for you M and I already decorated our dorm!" Evie said really excited.
"How did you know which one was ours?"
"Well... I talked to Fairy Godmother" the blue-haired girl said. Then she saw the 'tell me the truth' look on Mal's face. "Okay, maybe I begged her to show me which one it is."
"That's better, now let's go."
