"I'm your father."

"You're what?" Evie said in shock. "Why are you here?"

"Just wanted to wish you a happy birthday." the man chuckled. The blue-haired girl wasn't sure if she can trust him at first but when she found out that he knows that it's her birthday Evie decided to believe him.

"Well, you're kinda late. Like 18 years late."

"I know, and I want to apologize. What about going for ice cream?" the man said.

"Okay, I guess," she said and took his hand. "Oh, I forgot to ask! What's your name?"

"Frank." (I know I'm not good with names. Just go with it.) he told her and they went somewhere leaving Jane really confused about what just happened.

The girls were talking about something when Ben and Doug came carrying a cake with them.

"Great! That's done too!" Mal told the guys and took the cake carefully placing it on the party table. "Now, let's get Jay and Carlos. Oh, and also we have to check how's Jane..." she tried to say but Jane interrupted her with coming in.

"Hi! I'm on time, right?"

"On time?"

"Yeah, like for the party. By the way, calling someone to pretend being Evie's dad and distract her is genius! So well played Mal."

"What? I didn't do that!"

"You didn't?" Jane asked surprised. "Wait, does this mean..."

"...that Evie went somewhere with a stranger? I guess it does. Now, we must find her!"

Evie woke up in a basement. She couldn't remember anything else after the man pretending to be her dad hit her head. "Is there a trend of kidnapping people on celebrations?" the blue-haired girl asked when she saw a figure appeared in the darkness.

"I'm glad to see you're here!" the voice said.
