Chapter 60

"Okay, so I found this book with ten thousand names and I think we're ready to start." Jane said, sitting on Evie's chair and opening the massive book.

"And I've got Google and Princessterest." Lonnie added.

"Okay, what's your first name suggestion?" Mal asked.

(J - Jane
L - Lonnie
M - Mal, just making it this way to clarify things)

J: "Let's start with a. How about Ava?"

M: "Umm, no."

L: "Amelia?"

M: "...I'm not sure."

J: "Abigail?"

M: "Not bad."

L: "Avery?"

M: "Hmm, I have to think about it."

J: "Audrey?"

M: "Do you think I will name my child after the person who tried to kill me twice?"

J: "Okay, dumb idea. Moving on...Do you want to pick the ones starting with b and m?"

M: "I don't know...I mean, it'll be cute but maybe having her own letter will be better."

L: "This is harder than I thought!"

Meanwhile, with Evie and Doug.

"Hello, Mrs. Dwarfson! Mr. Dwarfson."

"Am I the one who thinks that sounds weird?" Evie whispered in Doug's ear.

"No. But think I can get used to it." he whispered back.

"So, from what you told me on the phone you're about fifteen weeks pregnant. That means we can try to hear the heartbeat."

"Really?" Evie squealed. The doctor nodded.

"It's going to be a little cold just don't worry!" she said as Evie lifted her shirt. The doctor turned on the machine and moved the wand around. "That's your baby's heartbeat." the woman told the couple but there was silence. "Hmm, interesting," she said making Evie and Doug curious and worried.

"Is everything okay? Doug asked.

"Just a minute!" she replied and went in the other room for a bit. When the doctor returned she moved the wand around once more. Both Doug and Evie's faces were having a worried expression. "There's nothing to worry about." soon after that sighed heard a sound and sighed in relief.

"What was the problem then?" Evie asked.

"Well, the baby you're expecting are actually babies."

"Oh my!" *faints*

"Doug! Stop you're making a scene!" Evie shouted but he was looking unconscious. "Doug! Wake up!" still no reaction. "...My dad is waiting outside of the door!"

The boy quickly shot up. "Where?! Save me!"

"He isn't here but you can't randomly faint in the doctor's office" the blue-haired girl yelled. The doctor giggled.

"I'll see you in two weeks don't forget to drink fluids and take rest!"

"Bye!" Evie replied kindly taking her husband's arm making him leave. "Now, we're going for ice cream!" she said.

"But..."

"If you get to stay unconscious for two minutes I get ice cream!"

"Fine!" and they walked to the cafeteria, holding hands.

With Mal, Jane and Lonnie.

"So, what are we stopping at?" Jane asked.

"This one." Mal said pointing somewhere in the name book. (yes, hate me but the name is going to be a surprise till the baby's birth) Then Doug and Evie came into the room carrying ice cream.

"Hey, guys! We have an announcement." the girl made a pause. "We're having twins!"

"I'm so happy for you!" Mal hugged Evie. Next were Jane and Lonnie.

"You know what I'm thinking about? Two double dates at Tiana's restaurant!" Lonnie suggested.

"Great idea! I'll call Ben!"

"Sure but let's not party that much cause graduation day is tomorrow," Jane said and everyone giggled.

The double double date went well. The boys even made an eating competition which was won by...Evie.

"What? I'm eating for three!" she said.

"The girl has a point!" Mal joined.

So, the next chapter will graduation. Also, sorry if it takes me way too much time but I'm really busy at school. See you in the next chapter!
