Chapter Eleven
Three dates down, nine more to go. This was only the first week but Adele was fed up with this. Twelve guys, twelve guys were out to win her heart. She sighed seeing someone slip a note under her door. Tonight was Harrison's turn, from what Adele saw he seemed like a decent guy but again they all seemed like that.
Taking the note in her hands she flipped the flap open seeing beautiful penmanship on that paper. "Get all dolled up princess, can't wait to see you...Harrison"
She chuckled setting the piece of paper on the dresser, it was kind of romantic that he wrote a note instead of texting her. Looking up at the clock she had two hours to get ready. That should be enough time, she was kind of curious where Harrison was taking her.
Grabbing her towel she headed into the bathroom to get cleaned up, her favorite scent was something fruity but something floral. Stepping into the shower she took her time washing her hair and lathering up her body. Unlike her parents Adele liked to do everything herself.
The only time she let anyone else do her makeup, hair, and pick out an outfit was when a royal event was taking place. Other than that Adele preferred choosing what she looked like. After thirty minutes she was ready to start on her hair and makeup. To her getting dolled up meant heavy makeup with a bold lipstick, hair pulled up in some sophisticated way.
So she settled for a smokey eye, red lips, and her hair in a low bun with curls hanging around it. For the outfit, a long strapless gown in black, couldn't get more elegant than that. Pulling on her black stilettos Adele spun around locking the door just around the time she was supposed to meet Harrison.
Walking down the hallways of her home she heard the chatter of the guys, it was still so weird that twelve other guys lived here with her now but only for a few months. Then it would be just one guy that she promised herself to, oh my goodness she wasn't ready for this.
Why was grandpa so old fashioned? She was still furious over this idea, twenty one! Twenty one for goodness sakes! If it wasn't in her grandpas will she would ditch all these guys and run the kingdom herself. Sadly that wasn't in her solutions, but she couldn't let Taylor take over the throne he will destroy it.
Just breathe, maybe in the end she would actually fall in love with one of these guys. There she saw Harrison standing at the bottom of the stairs with Shawn right beside him. Making her way down she noticed both of their faces light up, so she put on a smile for the camera.
"Wow I must be the luckiest guy in the country to be able to take you out" Harrison smiled looking her outfit up and down. Adele chuckled feeling Shawn take a hold of her arm.
Harrison looked very handsome in his black suit, guess she had the right idea of clothing. "You look stunning" Harrison gently grabbed her hand pressing his lips against her knuckles.
"Thank you" she said seeing him smiling at her like she was the most gorgeous thing he ever laid eyes on.
"Princess, are you ready?" Shawn gave her a quick squeeze as she nodded. "Okay date number four"
Harrison linked her arm with his as they walked into the cold autumn night. lightly wrapping his arm around her waist as he led her to the car. Climbing into the back seat he slipped in right behind her.
He took her feet placing them in his lap as she laughed. Slipping her heels off Harrison kissed her toes one by one as she giggled, that actually tickled. He chuckled pressing his cheek against the arch of her foot.
Adele smiled seeing that Harrison was really affectionate. Not many guys would be alright having your foot pressed against their face. She kind of liked the idea of Harrison always being like that.
