Chapter Thirteen
Adele groaned hearing her alarm blaring off. Reaching over she hit the button shutting that annoying thing up. Then she rolled over feeling the tight dress still clinging to her body. Oh yes, her date last night.
The last thing she remembered was Shawn letting her use him as a human pillow. Bill must have brought her in her bedroom last night. She swung her legs off the bed deciding to see what kind of mess she was in.
Trudging to the bathroom Adele slowly began bubbling with anger, he was just like her brother. She gasped catching a reflection of herself in the mirror. Hair tangled at the top of her head, mascara running down her cheeks, and her bloodshot eyes.
She ran her hair through a brush getting all the knots out then stripped down to step into the shower. This was going to be a long day.
Adele slipped on her silk robe over her slip, she just couldn't wait any longer. Securing her bedroom door behind her she took off. "Owen!" She screamed knowing whichever part of the house he was in, he would not hear her.
"Owen!" She stormed down the halls checking in every room to see if he was there. Muttering a few words under her breath she opened the door to the game room seeing most of them in there.
Scanning the faces of the men she laid eyes on him, oh sure he didn't care at all. Starting to head towards him he tensed up, he should be scared "You little-"
"Whoa, over here princess" Damien grabbed her waist keeping her secure in his hold. She wanted at that boy just like she did to her brother.
"Let me-"
"Are you okay Addie?" John asked going to stand in front of her.
"I'm fine" she responded as her eyes darkened over.
"Oh thank goodness" Harrison sighed planting a quick kiss to her forehead.
With all these men here she was not going to be able to do what she wanted. Then she realized the camera crew sitting next to them. Oh that's why they were trying to keep her from doing anything, smart boys.
Adele let out a frustrated yell wiggling herself away from Damien's arms as she headed back to her room. Well she knew she had to get that kid out of here, he was just like Taylor and that was someone Adele would rather avoid.
Walking into the ballroom studio Adele chuckled seeing the crew put up a whole stage for these guys. She linked her arm with Shawn's keeping herself as close to him as possible, she knew he was supposed to protect her.
Then Adele took a seat in one of the plush chairs taking a sip of the water on the table. Shawn plopped down next to her as he leaned back. She was actually pretty excited about this.
"Ready guys?" Shawn asked while one of them stuck a thumbs up from the back of the stage.
Adele chuckled hearing the camera crew set up behind them. They handed Shawn a card with who was up and what they were going to perform. "Alright first up, Wyatt and he will be singing"
Wyatt came out from the curtain with a guitar and a stool. Setting himself down he strummed the guitar strings. My goodness he was gorgeous! With a quick smile he began singing in such a deep and raspy voice Adele got completely lost in it.
She didn't recognize the song he chose but that did not matter, this man was talented. Wyatt looked completely at peace singing with just his guitar, so maybe there was more to him than she thought.
After a last strum of the strings Wyatt looked up with that smile she could melt with. "That was beautiful Wyatt, thank you" Adele said as he nodded and headed to the back.
