Chapter Sixteen
Rubbing her tired eyes Adele slowly rose from her bed taking in the sunlight of the morning. She had to say this wasn't as bad as she thought but thankfully her day off was coming soon. Only a few men left for this round and the elimination then she could relax.
As always she checked her planner to see who's turn it was today, Oliver. He didn't seem like a bad guy so she was hopeful. Plus those eyes of his, to die for. She shook her head grabbing her robe and towel to head into the bathroom.
Then she began her normal routine of getting cleaned up and ready for her date. Now Oliver she had no idea what he had planned but she already figured out he was the adventurous type.
Stepping out of the shower she heard her phone alert her with a text message. She quickly scanned the message as she wrapped a towel around herself. "Wear jeans or pants princess" Oliver's name lit up across the screen.
Jeans or pants? Adele didn't have anything like that expect for pajamas. Plus it was completely against royal tradition to wear jeans in public. It was acceptable at home since no one saw her but out in the open?
Well, she sighed, this show was no where near royal tradition so what harm could come from her wearing jeans? Quickly she pulled her robe against her clean skin as she headed out to her closet.
Digging through the back of her dresses she found a pair that hadn't been worn in years. Carefully slipping them on Adele let out a sigh of relief feeling they still fit perfectly. It actually felt nice to be wearing something different.
Adele grabbed a ivory blouse to match with her gold converse as she walked back into the bathroom to start getting ready. Usually she only wore these things around the house when she was tending to her back yard and it was definitely going to be strange wearing these out in public.
She took hold of her hairbrush pulling her hair up into a ponytail curling just the ends to make it look presentable. Then the intercom went off letting Adele know she needed to leave for her date.
Taking her phone she slipped it into her pocket and secured the door behind her. Oliver had to have something crazy in mind since he told her to wear this, but she had to say she was excited.
One step at a time Adele saw Shawn and Oliver at the bottom just like every date. "Princess" Shawn smiled causing Adele to return it.
"Good morning" she responded feeling Shawn take a hold of her hand to help her down the last few stairs.
"Good morning Adele" Oliver smiled approving of her outfit.
"Alright ready to go?"
Adele nodded as Shawn pressed his lips against her knuckles handing her off to Oliver. He quickly locked his fingers around hers raising them up to gently plant a kiss. She giggled while Oliver tugged her out to the car.
"You are going to love this" he said poking her sides causing Adele to squeal. Oliver laughed swinging open the car door letting Adele slide in. She sighed wondering if this was even a good idea to be wearing jeans in public.
Right now her grandfather would be rolling over in his grave, his granddaughter, the princess of Keilian was on the bachelorette and wearing jeans. Oliver climbed in next to her placing his hand on her leg.
She giggled feeling him cradle his head into the curve of her neck so she started running her fingers through his hair which was extremely soft. It seemed strange men usually had really silky hair.
The car came to a stop as Adele looked around, an empty field. A completely bare field. Oliver slid out of his seat rounding the car to come open the door for her as he helped her out. The look on his face was priceless, he was excited.
