''How about shrimp?''

''Nah...''

''Pasta?''

''I already ate that this week.''

''Meat?''

''I'm on a diet.''

''Then just choose for yourself, I don't care.'' Jungkook sighed in defeat as he let go of the menu, letting it fall back on the table.

Taehyung observed the pair from the other side of the table, but didn't comment on their odd behavior.

''Fine, Tae help me, should I get the fried rice with veggies or the spicy noodles with chicken?'' It seemed Jimin didn't wish to comment on his boyfriend's behavior either and turned to his friend for help.

''Get the fried rice, you always end up leaving half the food when you order something spicy.'' Taehyung replied glancing first at his best friend to see him nod in agreement then over to Jungkook, who just rolled his eyes and looked back down at the menu.

''Kook, do you know what you're gonna get?'' Taehyung questioned as he noticed a waiter approaching them.

''Yeah, I can make a decision.''

'Oh, I bet.' Taehyung wanted to reply, but chose to stay silent, knowing it would do more harm than good. ''Alright...'' He murmured instead and raised his hand, notifying the waiter that they were ready to order.

Once they ordered their food and the waiter left, the table went quiet. Even if you were a stranger only glancing at the three males from far away, you could tell there was some unresolved tension between the three.

Taehyung was still mad at Jimin for the way he has been behaving whenever he even mentioned Yoongi's name. Jimin was without a doubt upset about the attitude Jungkook has developed. And Jungkook was angry about something neither of his lovers knew about.

''Oh, I forgot to ask you yesterday, what did you get on the assignment?'' Taehyung decided to speak up, unable to stand the awkward silence any longer.

''She gave me an eight.'' Jimin replied as he took a sip of his soda.

''An eight? But your paper was amazing.'' Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

''Yeah, but I messed my presentation up so she lowered my grade.'' Jimin replied with an eye roll.

''She should've given us two separate grades for this.''

''What did you get?''

''A ten.''

''Oh wow...''

''I know, my first one in her class.''

''But it makes sense, she loved your presentation.''

''Yeah... My paper was shit though...'' Taehyung joked causing the best friends to chuckle.

It just occurred to Taehyung that he and Jimin shared their first decent moment in the past month. Every other time Jimin's voice held a sense of hostility inside it, especially if Taehyung brought up Yoongi.

''Did you tell Yoongi about the grade?'' For the first time in weeks, Jimin actually said his name in a normal tone. Not with annoyance, not with worry or even anger. He said it as if it was just a normal question.

''I forgot, he was showing me his old studies the other night and we completely forgot about everything else. He wants to throw them away but I convinced him to keep them.''

''What kind of studies does he have?''

''Different drawing techniques, body parts, perspectives... Fuck, he was so good, I seriously can't believe he drew all that.'' And so it began again, Taehyung's endless rambling about Yoongi.

There was a reason Jimin's replies always sounded so cold. All Taehyung still cared to talk about was Yoongi, Yoongi's work and nothing else.

''Really?'' But today, Jimin didn't want to make him feel bad or sound like he didn't care. So he smiled and listened, ignoring how his boyfriend didn't even bother look up from his phone and join in on the conversation.

''He had his own gallery shows, like he had his first show at nineteen, nineteen, what the hell were we doing at nineteen, nothing, we were home lying in bed on our phones all day long.'' Jimin had to admit, that was very impressive, and the way Taehyung's eyes lit up and how fondly he spoke, it was quite adorable to watch.

He just couldn't help but worry, what might come out of this and in what exact way Taehyung admired this man he never seemed to shut up about.

''He's done so much for someone his age... I just wish he didn't feel like this was all he could offer.'' And so, Taehyung's bright smile and wide excited eyes turned into a frown.

''What do you mean?''

''He's done so many great things and he's literally amazing at anything he tries... But now he feels like he's useless just because he lost his vision. Don't get me wrong, he's been trying really hard to find new hobbies and to learn how to write and read and all that but... I can see he's not happy with the way things are going.''

''That's sad...'' Jimin couldn't help but frown as well. ''But he'll find something, he just shouldn't give up.''

''Yeah, I tell him that. But he just tries to pretend like he's not bothered by any of it. But you're right, he'll find something, I'll make sure he does.''

''He's really grown on you, huh?'' Jimin couldn't help but smirk when he noticed his friend's flustered expression.

''I-I mean... Yeah... I've never really met anyone like him before...'' Taehyung admitted, a fond smile creeping back onto his lips just by thinking about the male.

''I can see yeah, you sound like his number one fanboy. Has someone developed a bit of a crush?'' Jimin teased causing Taehyung to bury his face into his palms, suddenly feeling shy to talk about such things with his friend.

''Don't...'' He murmured, his hands muffling out his voice and blocking his view from Jungkook, whom was trying his best not to glare at the pair and keep his cool.
