Good For You

(Chapter. 8) Big Ace

"Alice Noble you must be head over heels for this guy already! You never act this way over a guy. I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to meet him." Sam exclaimed.

"Oh no not anytime soon we went on one date so calm down. Now go I've got work to do." I said. Sam just smiled and walked away. I continued my work day, before I knew it, it was time to go home. I got home fed Tigger, and took a shower. I then cooked myself a Stromboli for dinner. I cuddled up with my snuggie and watched Friday The 13th while eating dinner. Next I received a text.

"I will see you tomorrow at 5:00pm.

My driver will pick you up from work and bring you to my home.

We will have dinner and I will give you a tour.

I can't wait to see you.

See you then gorgeous!

Ace."

My heart stopped all over again! But I wanted to be cool so I just responded with "cool."

The rest of the evening the anticipation built. I couldn't wait to go to Ace's house. Hell who am I kidding I just couldn't wait to see him again. I feel like a different person when I'm with him.

I tried to sleep but I just tossed and turned all night trying to contain my excitement.

The next day at work I found myself staring down the clock often. Each time I looked up it was as if time moved slower.

Finally it was time to go! I ran to the bathroom put some mouthwash in and freshened my makeup. I also put some more perfume on. I wore black skinny jeans, black Vans, and a white v-neck t-shirt with navy blue stripes. I then headed for the elevator. I entered the car garage searching for the Dodge Challenger that I had rid in before but just couldn't find it, then a black limousine pulled up in front of me.

"Hello Ms.Noble?" The driver asked as he walked towards me.

"Yes that is me. May I help you?" I asked.

"Hello, my name is Matthew I am Mr.McCoy's driver. I'm here to take you to his home." He answered.

"Oh nice to meet you Matthew! Let's go!" I said. He then opened the door for me and we drove away.

The ride was silent. I felt as if we drove forever. Finally we pulled up to a huge gate with a keypad. Matthew had his face scanned, thumb scanned, and he had to put in a code before the gate opened. We then drove down a long paved driveway with weeping willow trees lined up on both sides. It was straight out of a movie. We finally pulled up to a huge gray mansion. It had huge columns on the porch. It's the biggest house I've ever seen. I think thirty people could live here. Next Matthew opened my door and helped me out of the car. I felt totally underdressed. There were two armed security guards guarding the huge wooden front doors. As Matthew and I approached they stepped aside. Matthew opened the door for me. But he didn't follow me in. I gasped as I stepped inside. The floors were shiny white and black marble. There was a huge staircase to my left that twenty people could go up and down at the same time. The windows went from floor to ceiling. The ceilings were the tallest I'd seen.

"Ms.Noble, Mr.McCoy will be with you momentarily. I am William his butler."

"Oh alright and nice to meet you. I'm Alice but I think you already know that." I said with a smile.

There was a huge and wide hallway in front of me. I didn't even step off of the step in front of the door because I was afraid to touch the fancy floors.

"Alice you made it, how are you? You look gorgeous!" Ace said.

"Yes hello, I'm not bad. How are you?" I asked.

"I'm wonderful now that you're here. I'm really sorry you had to wait for me I was finishing a business call. Did Matthew treat you okay?"

"Oh it's no problem, yes Matthew was such a gentleman. William was pretty great too.' I explained.

"Oh good. I'd hate to have to replace them. Anyway right this way, dinner is ready." Ace explained then led me down the huge hallway. We walked in to a formal dining room. The table could seat like thirty people. The table had candles lit and dim lighting. There were two table settings there. Sparkling juice was read to be poured. He pulled my chair out for me.

"So tonight I got fancy. We have steak and mashed potatoes for dinner." Ace said with a smile.

"It sounds,smells, and looks amazing. But you have a lot of explaining to do." I responded.

"What do you mean?"

"You said that you were in finance. Then I come here to a huge mansion with security. You have a limousine, and a driver. You even have a butler. Look at this table you could probably seat thirty people here if you wanted to. Apparently you are filthy rich. I didn't want to step off of the rug because I was afraid I would mess up your perfect marble floors. Like I feel way underdressed. Should I take my shoes off?" I asked.

"Alice woe calm down. I love how impressed you are. But I didn't tell you because it isn't a big deal to me. I couldn't believe how much you enjoyed our first date with Mcdonald's on a rooftop. After that I had no problem showing you my real life style. You can leave your shoes on. You are so adorable by the way!" Ace explained with a giggle.

"Oh okay that makes sense."

"Now that we are finished eating, I'll give you a tour. So this is the dining room of course." He explained.

We then went to the kitchen where there was a chef. The marble floors were in there as well. The cabinets were white with a beautiful gray and black granite counter top. He showed me his office which had a huge cedar desk and spin chair. The walls were lined with bookcases.Next up the stairs we went. He showed me bedroom after bedroom, with king size beds and comforters out of the most expensive magazines.Each bathroom was covered in the best of the best tile showers and marble floors. I could fit my whole house in his master suite. His bedroom was gray with the marble floors. His bed was a California king. The comforter was red and black plaid. His curtains matched his comforter. His bathroom had marble floors with a walk in shower that was so big you could have an orgy in there. It was marble tiled, with a huge waterfall shower head on the ceiling. He also had a big bathtub and a double vanity with a granite counter top that matched the kitchen. Next we headed downstairs and down the hallway to the end. He opened the door to a huge indoor built in pool. The water was red. The pool was bigger than any public pool I'd ever seen. There were chairs surrounding the pool with a stereo and a refrigerator. He opened a closet that was full of towels, and floaties. I opened the refrigerator it had tons of drinks everything from Mountain Dew to Smirnoff Ice. The freezer had every ice cream you could think of. Ace then led me back to the living room which has a huge black microfiber sectional in it.

"So what did you think of my house?" He asked as we sat down.
