(Chapter.32) Ace Knows

"It's time to wake up gorgeous." Ace said then kissing me sweetly.

I rolled over and opened my eyes. I could see out of the window there was nothing but gorgeous blue water.

"Good morning, it is so beautiful here." I said while stretching.

"It truly is, now come on it is time for breakfast." Ace said with a smile. He then lead me to the elevator. We came out to a dining room with a buffet spread for breakfast. I could really get used to this oh my god! We ate breakfast and looked at the water. It was peaceful and delicious. Next we went upstairs and changed into our bathing suits. I put on a tankini that was black and red plaid with black bottoms. Ace put on navy blue swimming trunks. He then lead me to the beach.

The breeze felt so pure. The sand was pure white. The water was crystal clear.

Ace splashed me and picked me up and jumped waves with me in his arms. We then swam and did flips in the water. After a few hours of some well needed one on one time we got out of the water.

"I hate to tell you this but you're going to have to get back in the water because we are going snorkeling." Ace said with a smile.

"Wow, I've never been I'm so excited!" I exclaimed.

We got our gear on and headed in. I saw turtles and fish and sharks! It was so beautiful.

Next it was time for dinner. So we went back inside to change our clothes. Ace put on a black suit with a white button down shirt. I put on a black lace dress with burgundy roses on it.

We went to the balcony where a table for two was set up with candlelight. I could feel the light breeze and smell the sea in the air. A man brought us scallops as an appetizer. Next I got shrimp scampi and Ace got seafood ravioli. We dug in.

"So have you enjoyed today?" Ace asked.

"Yes it's been like a dream. It is so beautiful here and the food is amazing. We really needed today I'd say." I admitted.

"I agree, I know things have been hectic. That's why I wanted to make today all about us. No work just us. I tried to plan it as nice as I could. I'd love to tell you that this will be everyday with me but that would be a lie I'm afraid. But what I can promise is that I love you and we will have more days like this." Ace said then kissing my hand.

"Oh Ace you're like a dream. You are so perfect. I love you so much and I'm lucky to have you." I said.

He smiled and then took my hand leading me back to the elevator. When the doors closed his lips were on mine. When we got back to the room he pushed me to the bedroom and threw me on the bed. Next Ace unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. Next he kissed my cheek and down my neck. He then unbuttoned his pants and pulled my dress up.

"Ace, I need to tell you something." I said as he was about to begin. It was like I had no control of my mouth this statement needed to come out. But I didn't want it to because we had such a wonderful day and were about to have a wonderful night.

"Ace, seriously I need you to stop I need to tell you something." I said.

Ace's face turned hard.

He then got off of me and buttoned his pants. Ace also pulled his shirt back on but didn't button it. Next he poured himself some whiskey.

I pulled my dress down in confusion.

"Okay Alice, What do you need to tell me?" Ace asked as if he was waiting for a while. He stood at the foot of the bed with his whiskey and waited.

I sat on the edge of the bed and started to cry.

"Go ahead Alice, what is it?" He asked sternly. It was like Ace already knew.

"Ace I'm so sorry." I wept.

"For what? What the fuck did you do?" He yelled.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I let a fantasy get the best of me."

"Come on Alice just fucking say it already. You're crying isn't making it any better." Ace yelled.

"I slept with someone!" I yelled while crying.

"Wow, who was he?" Ace asked. It was like I could see the fire and fury in his eyes. He is now intimidating.

"I met him at the beach when I went with my sister. He told me about his life and things seemed like they would be easy with him. I let the fantasy take over and I slept with him. I regretted it and he meant nothing." I tried to explain.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me. So when I was trying to get in touch with you to make up from our fight and let's not forget I was trying to protect you from the immediate threat. You were out fucking your brains out. I was so damn worried about you when you didn't answer. I thought they had found you. Do you know that? But no, you were just fucking some other guy. I can't fucking believe you. Does being engaged even mean anything to you? I mean you've already "played" and kissed other men since we've been engaged. Now you're fucking a different guy. Do you take relationships seriously? Like what the fuck. You slutty whore! I'm trying to give you the world, I would kill you for you. What else do you want? I've been nothing but faithful to you and this is what I get? Wow." Ace yelled.

"It was a mistake, I'm sorry. You act like you already know. Did you?" I asked while being scared.

"An I'm sorry doesn't make you not fuck him Alice but thanks. I didn't know you fucked another man no. That is far worse than what I interpreted.What are you wondering how I knew that something happened?" Ace yelled in rage.

"Yes how?" I asked.

"When I kissed your neck there was a hickey, not from me. I was waiting for you to come clean. Just so you know we weren't going to actually make love tonight after I saw that. I don't want you to think I'm really that stupid. If you would have waited five seconds longer to say that we needed to talk then I would have confronted you. I know that your life would change if we got married, I know a lot of things would be hard and scary. But while you "figure out" if that's what you want, you don't get to fuck around on me. I'm a stand up guy. Before you I never took a woman seriously. I know how powerful of a man I am. I don't need anyone Alice. Before you a woman was nothing but a way to get me off. But not with you, I've tried to form a life with you. I want you to be my wife and be with me forever. I want you by my side, not just in my bed. But yet you continue to show me that you don't want the same. So why am I trying? Why am I trying to give you the world when you want nothing more but to destroy me? Maybe you aren't the woman I thought you were." Ace explained.

"Of course I was going to come clean. Ace I know how powerful you are and I know things are different with me. I am the person you think I am. I do love you more than anything. Ace I'm scared, that's why I keep sabotaging this. I'm sorry. This is what I want. Please don't give up on me." I pleaded.

"You know what, you keep saying that. So here is your last offer, we immediately start planning our wedding. We get married here, yes we invite your family, and I mean soon. If you fuck up one more time before our wedding or ever in life with another person then we are done. No kissing or fucking anyone but me. Alice once I'm done, I'm done. You will not change my mind. If you choose to not accept my offer then you will pack your shit and you will leave in the morning. I will never speak to you again. The choice is yours, in the morning I will come in here for my answer. I don't want to hear anything else you have to say. I'm not sleeping in here with you tonight either. Goodbye. See you in the morning." Ace explained and then left slamming the bedroom door.
