Chapter 29
Mauritius.
Yes...Sebastian bought me all the way to Mauritius for our honeymoon which I was expecting the least. I even had to pinch myself once just to make sure I am here.
Well, Mauritius never hit my mind even for once as I was mostly confined to Europe but seems like Sebastian always knew things better than me. We chatted in the balcony for long. The sea has a strange effect on me which was resisting me from going inside and I can safely say that I can spend my entire vacation here sitting in the balcony watching the sea.
We had our dinner in the balcony when Sebastian's phone rang and it was none other than Nicole. I felt a little weird seeing her name on his phone and not wanting to hear their conversation, I came back in the room saying I need to change. Once I was done, I couldn't wait for this night to end. I lay on the bed and reading the book, waiting for the sleep to hit me.
Not after a few minutes later, I was already sleepy as I was so excited for the Sun to come out so that I can finally explore the city but Sebastian was slightly jet-lagged and slept way too late. The last time I saw him was around three in the morning still talking to Nicole in the balcony. It had been more than two hours now and I guess, this is what happens when you are in love. You lose the track of the time talking to the person you love so much.
I wasn't prepared for sharing my bed with Sebastian yet. I thought even if we are coming to a new city, our arrangement would be the same. Two separate rooms. But this was different. We couldn't be in two rooms as his father would come to know about it and all the buzz about our wedding would go downhill and unfortunately, there was not a spare bed in the room.
Why would there be a spare bed in a honeymoon suite?
Anyway, Sebastian and I slept together on the same bed which was bound to happen.
I was the one who woke up first. I had never shared a bed before with anyone except sleeping with Mary on my sick days and before sleeping tonight with Sebastian, I had made up a rule in my mind regarding our territories. I will not cross mine and neither will he but seems like I should have told him about this as well because when I woke up, his arm was on my encircling my waist. Horrified, I tried to move away but then he pulled me closer.
"Sleep Kate, it's not morning."
"It's morning. The Sun is up." I mumbled and he whined.
"We are on our honeymoon. Just sleep."
"But..." He interjected by scooping me more closer to him if that was even closer and nuzzled his face in the crook of my neck. Although I couldn't sleep in such close proximity with a guy but strangely sleep took me over after some time and finally when I woke up, I found Sebastian wide awake grinning at me, still holding me captivated in his arms.
"I won." He mumbled in his hoarse voice making me frown.
"Before coming here I had made a checklist which included all the ways of spoiling you a little and the first thing in that list was to make you sleep longer."He said and I gasped.
"What time..."
"10.30." He said and I shrieked. I was about to get up but he held me making me lay back once again.
"Leave me, Sebastian. If Mary would come to know about this..."
"She won't."
"But..."
"Relax...will you?" He said and lay down quietly.
"What if..."
"She is not coming here to keep tabs of your sleeping hours."
