Chapter 5

"I swear to god Finneas. Put. It. Down." Billie said to Fin slowly, referring to his card.

Currently everyone was arguing over who was paying, Finneas was trying to be chivalrous but Billie wouldn't have it because she wanted to treat everyone. Then Pen and Lucy felt bad about them offering to pay and Zoe and Claudia looked unfazed by the ordeal, like it happens all the time.

Rolling my eyes, I got up and grabbed the bill without anyone paying close attention and paid the bill. I walked back and put the receipt on the table.

"Don't worry it is all covered" I said casually grabbing my jacket and looping it around my cross body.

Everyone looked at me with wide eyes.

"Bro that was like $250 worth of food, are you sure?" Lucy asked me.

I laughed and smiled "yeah its totally fine, I never spend my money anyway, I always get Jock to pay for me" I said giggling. But I didn't miss the way Billies' smile fell a little. Huh, weird.

"Let's go explore the City, show us all the cool spots" Zoe said and looped her arms with Pen and Luce before exiting the café to meet Finneas and Claudia outside.

"Let's go mamas, wouldn't want to keep them waiting" Billie said to me before pulling me out of the café doors.

As we followed Lucy who picked the first place we were going, I realised Billie never let go of my arm which brought a bashful smile and blush to my face that wouldn't go away.

"So how are you liking Aus Bil?" I asked looking at the dark-haired girl.

"At first wasn't a fan of the heat, cause I can't wear my jackets n shit, but this trip has gotten a lot better as of recently" she answered with a sly smile.

"Heat? Bitch please, this is not, like at all. It's May, if anything it is colder now" I answered laughing with the look of disbelief on her face.

"You'll just have to come back in summer to see how it really gets" I said to her and plucked up the courage to add in a wink. Which resulted in a blush from Billie.

Fuck me. I made Billie Eilish blush.

"Lucy! Where the hell are we walking to? You better not get us lost this time!" I yelled at her with a glare.

"Pipe down squeaky, and I know exactly where I am going, and I will have you know it is a pit stop before we get an uber to the actual place smartass!" she answered back at me with a new level of attitude. This girl, I swear to Mother Mary.

I huffed and continued walking, with a giggling Billie to my right, still attached to my arm. We carried on down a few more streets before I realised where Luce was taking us. Mid way of having a conversation with Zoe some fans spotted Billie and ran up to her.

"Hello my loves!" she greeted them with a big smile and even bigger embrace.

I had to adore the way she interacted with fans, it was amazing, I mean we just met a few hours ago and that's still insane to me. After a few minutes in conversing with them and taking photos she told them her goodbyes and that she will see them soon.

We arrived at the nearest Woolworths, a supermarket in Australia, the best if you ask me. We entered and grabbed a basket. Finneas and Claudia went off to get snacks of their own, while Pen, Luce and Zoe went to get ice-cream.

"Looks like it's us again mamas" Billie said to me before following me to the vegan section.

I grabbed a bar of dairy-free chocolate that is fire. Then coconut water, cause that shit is so damn good.

"What do you want Bil, I'm lactose free too so we can share" I told her while spinning around to look at the shelves again for more options.

Before I could comprehend what was going on, arms snaked around my waist and Billie's head was against my left shoulder, with the front of her body pushed up against the back of mine.

"I kinda want ice-cream Harri" she mumbled against my arm.

I leaned back into her embrace completely forgetting for a moment what was happening and soaked the moment I was in up. I peered down at her and nodded my head in agreement, however neither of us moved to start walking to the freezer isle.

"Haz! Billie! Where are you guys", I heard Lucy yell through Woolies, making me jump away from Billie and ruining our moment. I'm going to strangle her tonight and no will hold me back.

I sighed as laughing approached the isle we were walking through and met up with everyone. I made eye contact with Billie who seemed to be in a deep thought, but looked up to meet my stare, making me blush and look at Pen.

"We got you the two ice cream pints you always get and they're dairy free so you and Billie can share" Pen said as she handed them to me.

I thanked her with a smile and carried them to the check-out.

"Nuh-uh mamas move outta the way I'm gonna pay, as you decided to take it upon yourself to pay for lunch" Billie told me, then shoved me out of the way.

The cashier looked at us with a smile, "you guys are so cute" she said making Billie and I blush.

"Uhhh- no um we aren't-" I started to say before being interrupted by a certain someone.

"Thankyou" Billie said with a grin.

We waited for everyone to exit Woolies and Lucy said the uber was almost here.

As Zoe, Billie and Pen entered a debate with Claudia and Finneas about who's better at ninja, I turned to Lucy who was on her phone waiting for the Uber.

"How crazy is this" I whispered to her.

"Dude it feels unreal, like this morning I was passed out in your car and now we are with Billie Eilish and her family, like what the fuck. Plus, I'm certain she likes you cause you two have been stealing glances and touches all day" she said with a smirk.

Well she's not wrong there, Billie did hold my hand when we were eating lunch at one point, the resorted to placing it on the thigh. Which in fact startled me because of her cold ass rings.

"Ummm, yeah I don't know, maybe that's how she usually is" I said playing it off and stealing another glance at Billie who was already looking at me.

"Right, yep Haz ok. Look Harrington, I know you don't believe in the universe shit I'm always going on about. But Harri the signs are there, if we weren't meant to meet them at the café like we did today then it wasn't destined, but this is a moment you need to grasp because they rarely come around." she said to me in all seriousness.

Although annoying as hell, the blonde had a point, so I nodded and gave her a bear hug.

"Thanks Luce, that means a lot even if your referring to your universe bullshit" I said giggling earning a laugh from her.

"Oop, Ubers here everyone" she said as the maxi Uber pulled up in front of us.

"Lucy? To the lookout?" The uber driver asked earning a nod from Luce and all of us climbed into the car.
