Chapter 8

We just finished lunch in a really good Mexican restaurant along the river and Billie asked if I wanted to go for a walk around the park nearby. Of course, I agreed but not before Pen and Lucy were going to be alright.

"Are you kidding? Of course, we will be fine Harri, we've got Zoe anyways. Go!" Pen said to me with excitement and ushered me away from them towards a smiling Billie.

We were now walking towards the park that was a few minutes away.

"You know mamas, I never had the chance to compliment the outfit, especially this neon shirt. Looks fire baby" Billie said to me with a grin and tugged on the shirt.

"Thanks Bil, you don't look too bad yourself" I said looking at her outfit for the millionth time today.

She was wearing a baggy tee and shorts that were to die for and her pair of Air Force Mids with wings. Instead of her usual fuck off chains, she only had a few necklaces on and of course he usually Blohsh charm. And we can't forget about the rings that littered her finger.

She flashed me a grateful smile, then grabbed my hand and pulled me into the entrance of the park. Walking around the park I was surprised that she barely got noticed, but then again it was a school day and the majority of the people here were over 40.

"I have some pretty damn good news love" Billie said to me as she pulled me into her lap when we sat on the ground.

"And what might that be William?" I asked her with a giggle.

"Well Harrington" she said to me with a pointed look.

"Mum pushed back a few media events to give us more days here, so I was thinking we could spend a few days at that beach of your?" she asked me with a smile.

I threw my arms around her neck and pulled her in for a tight embrace. "That would be amazing Bil" I said and leaned down to give her a kiss on the cheek, making her sigh and close her eyes while tightening her arms around my waist.

We hung around the park talking about pointless shit for another hour before we had to leave for sound check. On the way back to the venue I made us stop at a camera shop and bought a few disposable cameras for the days to come.

"What'd you get?" Bil asked me as I exited the shop.

"Some disposable cameras for the show and when we go back to mine. But make sure you don't take any selfies with the flash" I said laughing, referring to the video of her from one the IGTV's she posted.

She started laughing at my reference and pushed my shoulder.

"That wasn't my fault I had no idea what the fuck it was, damn thing almost blinded me!" she exclaimed in huff.

I wrapped my arm around her shoulder and brought her into me and whispered into her hair, "aww it's ok I'll protect you from the flash" I mumbled, trying to contain my giggles.

Billie and Finneas were doing soundcheck at the venue, while Claudia and Maggie were getting food, leaving Zoe, Pen, Lucy and I sitting in the mosh and talking. I had been taking photos on one of the disposable cameras all afternoon and I'm so keen to get them printed. I got a few of all of us posed in the big ass mirror in the green room. And a few of Billie on our walk back to the venue, those one I am the most excited for. I walked up to the fence of the mosh with the camera, gaining Billie's attention. She ran over to me *click and I took a photo, then another as she squatted in front of me.

She placed her hand on my cheek and told me to turn around. Without questioning her motives, I reluctantly turned around. Pen jogged over to us and took the camera from my hands before stepping back and loading the film.
