My eyes opened, revealing the sun to be shining through my window at full force. I let out a sigh, as I tumbled out of bed, thoroughly convinced that today wasn't going to be a good day. I heard Mom conversing downstairs, probably talking to Dad via phone. I sat on the floor, my body mushed together, deep in thought. Today was the day, the "best" day of my life, technically. I scanned my room, which was full of boxes, and other tiny things.

I heard Mom shuffle up the stairs, opening my door without knocking, of course, and staring at me, a small but sad, smile on her face. "Are you ready to go? The movers are on their way." She said, her voice soft. I nodded, giving her the answer she was dreading. Mom didnt want me to leave, she wanted me to stay with her, and live here until I found someone to settle down with. I slowly stood up, cracking my back in the process as Mom went downstairs, I looked around my room once more, sad yet excited to leave.

I pursed my lips and eyed the outfit I had left last night, it was extremely hot outside and the outfit I had picked was made for Alaska weather. "Ahh whatever, when life gives you lemons, squirt them into someones eyes." I snorted at my own little joke, and quickly got dressed. I flung open the door to my room, and made my way over to the bathroom, locking myself in.

"Alright, what should I do today?" I mumbled to myself, staring down at the few cosmetic products I had left out. I was wearing a blue sweater, that had the moon phases on it, something to go with that maybe? I nodded, agreeing with myself, but stopped before I could pick up the blue lipstick. I frowned, deciding to just wear mascara for today.

I quickly packed all my other woman necessities as I hear the front door open, and many people talking with each other. They started coming up the stairs, so I just assumed they were the movers. I gave them a half smile as I exited the bathroom, clutching the small purse in my hand. Mom was currently in the kitchen, she had made a breakfast sandwich for me. I gave her another smile as I took it, "Thanks, Mom, for letting me do this, too." I said, trying to sound as grateful as I could. Mom hugged me tightly, almost making me drop my sandwich, "You're welcome, you better stay safe while you're down there or else." She said, trying to sound threatening.

My eyes started to water, "Of course I will, now lets go!" Trying to distract her from my watering eyes. The movers brought each box down into the truck, placing them in the back as gently as they could. Mom looked at me once more, "Tell Jacob I said hi, and make sure Bella is okay." Her voice once again soft and full of emotion, I nodded, "Roger that."

A couple of hours have passed, well, more like ten. I was at Charlies, waiting for him or Bella to return home. The movers were sure taking their sweet time, too. I took out my phone, texting Bella to hurry up. I knew she had a boyfriend, and I knew there was something seriously up with them. Bella rarely texts me anymore, which hurts me. I shrug it off, pulling my knees up to my chest and crossing my arms over them, trying to be patient. I was about to doze off when I hear a stick crack, or whatever it was. I perked up and looked towards the woods, narrowing my eyes at the sudden sound, I opened my mouth but shut it, I knew what happened to the white girls in horror movies when they call out into the darkness.

I shook my head, and crossed my arms once again. "It was probably some deer or something." I grumbled, shifting uncomfortably. That's when it happened again, but it sounded closer. I jumped at the sudden sound, catching me off guard, I wasn't expecting it to happen again. "Ok..now i'm getting freaked out." I whispered, glaring down at the woods.

"Hey, wasn't expecting you here, Summer!"
