Everyone returned back to their normal lives after the confrontation ended. I got close to Garret, one of the members of the Denali coven. He was surprisingly nice, funny, and extremely sarcastic. He would make jokes about me being a human, but would always ruffle my hair up when he stopped.
It has only been a few hours since the Volturi left, and I was hanging out with the Cullens. Paul reluctantly agreed to come inside, and actually hang out with the others. Well, he didn't necessarily hang out with them, but our families would be tied together once we get married, so he better get used to it. I also had to spill to the Cullens, which was a main reason why I was still around.
Edward made eye contact with me, and nodded his head once, signaling me to break the silence with the news. I inhaled sharply, and looked over at Paul, who had his arm wrapped around my waist.
"Everyone," I spoke up, and they all turned to look at me, even Renesmee with Jacob, "I have some very important news i'd like to share to you all, but before I do I want you all to know that you're apart of my family now, and you always will be." The whole room seemed to brighten, Carlisle pulled Esme closer to him, while Jasper gave me an encouraging smile.
"I know vampires and werewolves don't get along, but please don't kill me or him when I tell you," I exhaled, and Rose raised an eyebrow, "I'm getting married."
Bella jumped out of her seat, clutching Edwards hand who looked in pain. Alice squealed, pulling Jasper closer to her, Emmet grinned, and the vampire I was most worried about gave me a loving smile, Rose.
Rose came over and pulled me into a tight embrace, a little too tight for my liking, but luckily she didn't crush my spine. Her gaze trailed towards Paul, and he held her gaze, before surprisingly, she gave him a smile. His eyes widened for a second, before returning the smile.
Alice came skipping over to me, "Can I plan it? Please, I have to plan more weddings." She jumped up and down, before looking at Paul with puppy eyes, she really wanted to do this.
He sighed, shaking his head, "Sure, but, Emily asked if she could help too, so let her help you." Alice agreed, but before she could start the other girls came over.
"What about me?" Bella teased, holding Renesmee in her arms.
Alice groaned as they began to make plans, "What kind of wedding do you want?" Rose shouted over excited squealing of Alice.
I looked up at Paul, "Anything you want baby." He said, kissing the top of my head.
"I want one like what Bella had, in the forest." Rose nodded, and turned back to others.
I heard footsteps approaching, and there stood Jasper. For some reason, me and him have always gotten along, I thought of him as a brother.
"Congratulations, Summer. I'm happy for you." He said softly, looking at Paul as well, "Well, I know the others want to speak to you." He grinned, moving back towards his place on the couch.
Emmet was the next one to come up to us, he had his signature smug look plastered over his face, "Congrats squirt, if you need anything, big brother Emmets got your back." I laughed at this, and Paul even let out a snicker or two.
Someone tapped Emmett on the shoulder, and he rolled his eyes, before returning over to Jasper. Esme and Carlisle now stood in front, Carlisle had her securely tucked under his arm, "We're very happy for you, Summer, and we wish you the best life." Esme said, taking my hand in hers.
I gave her a warm smile, "Thanks Esme, I'm extremely honored to be apart of your family." Carlisle smiled at this, and he turned to look at Paul.
"I hope we can set aside our differences, and work together." He spoke, making Paul cross his arms. He stood there for a silent second before nodding.
"Yea, I wouldn't mind that." They shook hands, and Esme released me.
"Don't worry, Alice is an amazing wedding planner." She winked at me, both of them turned away and also went back to the couch.
----
"A-Alice, I can't breathe." I hissed, glancing down at the tight wedding dress.
"You look beautiful." Rosalie said, completely ignoring my cries for help.
"She does, doesn't she?" Bella complimented, nodding her head in agreement with Rose as Alice stepped back to admire her work.
The wedding, if all goes according to plan, should be tomorrow. Alice made sure everything went smoothly, and with the help of the Cullens, the Uleys, and the Black pack, it was put together rather fast. It almost looked like Bellas wedding, but it held deeper in the woods. I remembered the spot where Jacob had taken me, the place where I met Paul, and the Uley pack.
There was a knock at the door, "Come in!" Alice said, unzipping the back of the dress so I could finally escape.
Esme walked in, Renesmee had grown quite a lot since last week, when the Volturis came. I smiled at her as she walked in, and she smiled back.
"You look really pretty, Aunt Summer." She giggled, and I laughed along with her.
"Why thank you, future flower girl." Esme had brought Renesmee in to try on her dress. I had the marvelous idea of making Renesmee the flower girl, and when I told Alice she nodded very enthusiastically saying, "You're a genius, Summer."
I slipped off the dress, I had shorts and a tanktop under it so I wouldn't have to maneuver my way over to the bathroom to change. Bella took it for me, and I thanked her before sitting down in a chair, watching Renesmee try on her little dress.
I smiled at her, the dress looked adorable on her and it matched her complexion perfectly. The red complimented her hair, and I watched as she twirled around, clearly excited about wearing a dress.
Bella moved next to me, and she sat down, facing me, "I want to be an aunt, too, by the way." She said, earning her a playful glare.
Soon, I thought, very soon.
