I started at the figure, my face covered with a blank expression. I didn't know what to feel, before I could snap at him, someone shuffled down the stairs. I looked up to see Bella, a surprised look on her face. My eyes narrowed up at her, and I looked back at the male. He was pale, gold eyes, and he was beautiful.
"So, I'm guessing this is your little boyfriend?" I said, with a slight hiss, making Bella even more shocked.
I glanced towards him, he gave me an enchanting smile and I rolled my eyes. "Spare me pretty boy, I know what you are." I put my hands up defensively as I sat down at the kitchen table.
Edwards eyes narrowed, trying to read my thoughts, but he couldn't. He looked over at Bella and she started to speak, "H-how? Who told you?"
My lips pursed, and I shrugged, "Just a certain moody wolf."
Edward crossed his arms, "Filthy mutts..." He mumbled under his breath, earning a glare from Bella.
"No, I'm cool with it. I've started to really enjoy their company, maybe if you weren't such a recluse, we could be like that." I nodded towards both of them, earning a sarcastic laugh from Edward.
"Ok, me and Bella have some business to attend to." He quickly spoke, breaking the awkward silence.
Bella nodded in agreement, but I stopped them before they could walk out the door, "Bella, I need to talk with you." My voice got serious as I quickly dragged her up stairs.
"You know Edward can hear us, right?" I shrugged at her little comment.
"Bells, what's the future going to hold for you two? What are your plans?" I asked quietly, surely she wasn't going to become a vampire like them.
"Well, after graduation I want him to change me, and--"
I cut her off, "What?" My voice got stern, and I glared at her.
"I-I know it sounds bad, but it's what I want. I want to be with him forever." My eye twitched, I could not believe the words that were coming out of her mouth.
I sharply inhaled, and closed my eyes. It was her decision, not mine. "Okay, but what about Charlie?" I questioned, truly curious.
"Umm, we're probably going to have to fake a death." I sighed at this, and shook my head.
"Whatever Bells, have fun on your little date." I grumbled, walking out of the room, she was following close behind.
I stood in front of Edward, and he looked down at me. "Be good to my sister, or else." He gave me a confident smile, and nodded.
I waved them goodbye as they took off to wherever they were going. I kind of wanted to go, but I couldn't, even if I managed to ask before they left I doubted it. I shrugged off my worries and fears, moving up the stairs to go into my room. I fell back into the pink sheets, and stared up at the white ceiling, my mind bringing me to Paul. I smiled to myself, giggling like a little girl. I couldn't help it, he made me happy, even though I just met him.
My eyes closed, Paul kept flashing in my mind and I just wanted it to be tomorrow already, so I could see him, and talk to him. I soon fell off into a deep sleep, dreaming about the moody wolf.
----
I had awoken to a few beeping sounde coming from my phone, Paul had been texting me for the past minute.
"Are you okay?" "You're probably just sleeping." "Do you want me to come over?" "How about 3?"
I laughed as the text messages stopped, it was nice to have someone care about you that much, and I was glad to know it was him. I sat up in bed, as a familiar scent filled my nostrils. I grinned devilishly, "Pancakes!"
