It felt oddly cold. I was standing in an empty room, nothing was around me, expect for a small white feather that gently fluttered to the ground. I grabbed it, exaiming it before letting it fall to the ground.
It started to snow, I stuck out my hand and watched as it slowly dissolved into water as it fell into my palm. I could hear someone whispering, and I turned my head in the direction of the voice.
He was sitting with his head held firmly in his hands, and he was sitting down, his legs crossed over one another. I sat down beside the strange boy, and touched his shoulder.
He looked up at me, "Oh my, I wasn't expecting you here." For some reason, the face was faded, and I couldn't tell who it was.
I didn't speak, I just watched as he stood and took my hand in his, leading me around the white space, "Welcome to my home." He said softly, sitting down in a different white spot.
"Who are you?" I finally said, earning a glance from him.
"Im--"
I woke up to the sound of Pauls snoring beside me, I let out a soft sigh as I turned to face him. It's been two days since Bellas wedding, and she was currently on her honeymoon. Paul shifted, so that he was laying on his back.
I smiled at him, ever since the incident with the baby, Paul was been sticking to my side like glue. He even insisted on staying at my house, until Charlie agreed to me living with Paul, which would probably be never.
I reached towards him, and stroked his cheek tenderly, his skin was hot to touch, but I loved that about him. I heard him groan, and he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me to his torso.
"Good morning beautiful." He grumbled, burying his face into my hair.
I rolled my eyes, "Good morning love. Can we go over to Emilys today?" I asked him, trying to sit up in bed.
"Yea sure..." He trailed off, and I heard his snoring once again. I mumbled a few colorful words and playfully smacked his arm, "If you aren't willing to get up, I will."
I tried to escape from his tight grasp, but alas I could not. I groaned as I heard him chuckle, before finally letting me go.
I stood up and stretched, bringing my arms above my head. Paul finally sat up too, and gave me a loving gaze. I returned it for a few seconds before I wandered over to my closet, pulling out a white blouse, and light blue skinny jeans.
I eyed him, and he stared back, "Well? I have to change." I said, raising my arms dramatically.
A smirk came to his lips, "But i've already seen you naked." His statement made me blush and I turned away.
"Whatever..." I grumbled, pulling off my pajamas.
----
We arrived at Emilys around lunchtime, and everyone greeted us as we came in.
"Hey lovebirds, hows it goin?" Embry grinned, sipping whatever liquid was in his cup.
I heard Jared say a few things too, so did Quil and even Seth, but I ignored them and made my way over to Emily, leaving Paul with the guys.
Emily smiled when she saw me, "Hey! I'm making pizza tonight, will you help me for a second?"
I agreed, walking farther into the kitchen, "What do you need?" I asked, slightly excited.
"Can you set the table? It will really help me a lot." I nodded again, taking 8 plates from the counter.
"What about Jacob?" I called out, setting the plates gingerly down in front of the chairs.
"He's back at his house, I asked him to come but he didn't answer." Emily shrugged, so I stopped asking.
----
"Boys! Lunch!" We watched as they all came running, I had already grabbed my piece before the fighting began.
I sat in between Embry and Paul, Embry kept telling jokes to Seth, which I was able to hear.
"Why did the seagull not wanna fly over the bay? Because he didn't wanna be called a bagel!" He cracked up at his joke, which made me snicker in respone.
Paul kept stealing glances at me as I ate my pizza. He finally decided to say something, "What do you wanna do after this?" He questioned, his mouth full with food.
I smiled at him, reaching over to his face and wiping off a drop of tomato sauce that was on his chin, "We can go back to my place." I suggested.
He nodded in agreement, before continuing to eat his pizza.
----
We were back at my house, a few hours have passed since we left; I unlocked the door and let him inside. He smiled as he went to sit down on the couch. Paul plopped himself right in the middle, and he opened his arms, inviting me to join him.
I grinned, locking the door behind me before walking over to him. I sat down next to him, and he pulled me to his chest, letting me snuggle against him affectionately.
He stroked my hair, and turned on the tv. We watched Law and Order for a bit, before switching over to Game of Thrones.
"Oh come on, Snow!" I shouted at the tv, slightly pissed off at what was happening. I heard Paul snort at my little outburst.
"You like this show?" He asked, messing with my hair.
"Yea, I do actually." I said, keeping my eyes on the tv.
He smiled softly, "I'll keep that in mind." His voice was almost inaudible, but I decided not to say anything. I snuggled closer to him when the phone rang.
I groaned loudly, standing up and stomping over to the receiver which hang loosely on the wall. I picked it up, but before I could speak I already knew who it was. His voice sounded so different, yet it was the same wolf I knew and loved.
"It's Bella, she's pregnant."
