I jumped up, my eyes meeting a familiar face, brown eyes, and black hair. A warm smile spread across my face as I looked at him, "Jacob!" I exclaimed, rushing over to him, and engulfing him in a tight hug. He let out a laugh, his chest seemed to quake, his laugh reminding me of a wolfs howl, strong and powerful.

"How's it going, squirt?" Jacob said, a slight tease in his voice.

I rolled my eyes at his little remark, "Its been good, stupid. Where's Bells?" I asked him, hoping he would know.

His face darkened for a second, but he quickly erased that and put on his famous half grin, "She's out with Edward, I'm assuming you know who that is." I let out a small, aggravated sigh.

"She said she would be here." I grumbled, and Jake just shrugged.

"Yea, she's been hanging out with the Cullen's more than me, and even Charlie." Jake mumbled, sadness starting to lace his words. I rubbed his back gently, before stuffing my hands in my back pockets. Jake let out a soft sigh, "Whatcha wanna do? Charlie won't be back until later tonight, so i'll stick with you, if you want of course." He grinned, and I raised an eyebrow.

"Sure, why not? Maybe we can go somewhere quiet, you know me, I've always loved the outdoors." My eyes twinkled mischievously as Jake snorted.

"Yea yea, I know. All right, hop on." He turned away from me, holding his arms out behind him, "Well, you coming Summy?" Jake teased once again.

I let out a playful growl, and hopped on. "Excuse you, when did 'Summy' become a thing, huh?" I laughed as I spoke, which made him laugh along with me.

"I don't know, I like it, makes you sound younger than what you really are." Jake shrugged, as he took off into the woods.

"Aren't I heavy?" I asked, raising another eyebrow.

"No, not really. Ha, have you forgotten? I've started working out." He said proudly, and I shook my head at his response.

----

Jake slowed down to a walk, he let out a louder sigh, hoping to wake Summer up. When it didn't work, he just chuckled to himself.

"You always were a dork, Summy. I missed you." Jake quietly mumbled to himself, hoping she wasn't fake sleeping.

He looked around at the scenery, the trees were tall and elegant. Jake slowly turned his head to the left, continuing to examine, he wanted to take her somewhere beautiful and special. He shook his head and continued on, looking around at all the shrubs and trees.

----

I let out a small yawn, opening my eyes to see Jake still carrying me. "Enjoy your little beauty nap?" He said, perking an eyebrow.

"Yes, I did, thank you very much. Where are we anyway?" I questioned him with some attitude.

Jake snorted at the question, "Where are we? Well, I took you where you wanted to go, somewhere peaceful and magical."

I looked up from his back, and my eyes widened. There was a small river running between two trees, leading to wherever it was meant to go. Surprisingly, there were flowers, and butterflies. The birds were singing their songs, and the trees let out a hum in response. The wind seemed to guide the flowers, almost like it was trying to teach them how to dance. It was beautiful.

Jake let me down gently, leaning down so I wouldn't tumble off. I took a deep breath and a giant smile took over my face. "Jake, It's gorgeous here! How in the world did you find this place?" My voice was full of excitement, I was ready to just throw myself into the grass and flowers.

He chuckled, "Ahhh, just a little adventuring." Jake said, winking at me, with a grin.

I narrowed my eyes, but decided not to continue asking. I let out a small giggle, as I bounded towards the clearing. I heard Jake say something, but I didn't quite catch it, I was too excited to care about anything. I turned around, about to ask Jake to join me, but he wasn't there. My eyes widened, and my grin had dropped from my face.

"Jake? This isn't funny! You know how I feel about being alone. Jacob!" I yelled out, scanning the small area, hoping to hear him or even see him. I heard about the killings, and I started to get anxious. I wasn't built to be alone, Jacob is like my big brother and without him I feel unsafe.

"Jacob, please! Where are you?" I continued to call out to him, but then I heard a growl. It was a low, intense growl, that sent my heart racing faster than any car.

"Summer, it's okay!" I turned around to see Jacob, jogging over to me, a small smile on his face.

I let out a relieved sigh, and ran up to him, hugging him. "Where were you? You let me all alone!" I shouted up at Jake, and he frowned. Jake didn't answer my question, he just stroked my hair.

"I want you to meet someone, I'm sorry that I scared you." He said quietly, before pulling me away, and looking into my eyes. Jake had a sincere look on his face, "Whatever, don't do it again, or else." I said, with a small laugh. He rolled his eyes, and looked up, "Come on out, guys."

Jacob released me so I could turn around, I stared at the figures that were now in front of me. My face went blank, they were all shirtless, and they were all, of course, guys. Jake smiled and walked up to them.

"Summer, these are my friends. Seth, Paul, and Embry. There are others too, but they are back at the house." He introduced each one, all of them were absolutely gorgeous, and all four of them were toned.

"Hi Summer, it's nice to meet you." The one called Seth said, a big grin plastered on his face.

"Yea, nice to meet you too." I said as they walked down from the small ridge they were standing on.

I looked towards the one that seemed the oldest, which his name was Paul and gave him a friendly smile. He just looked away and crossed his arms.

"Don't mind him, he's a big baby. Hi, I'm Embry, you single?" Embry smirked, a small red tint coming to my face.

"Back off, Embry." Jake said, letting out a protective growl. Embry just rolled his eyes, and put on a confident smile. I glanced over to Paul, but he wasn't looking at me, which kind of upset me. I shrugged it off, as Seth started to ask me questions.

"Did you just move here?" He asked, his eyes full of curiosity.

"Yep, I moved in with my sister, but apparently she isn't around much." I shrugged once more, which Paul let out a grunt at that.

I glared at him, and continued to answer all the questions Embry and Seth kept asking, while Jake tried to keep Embry off of me. I couldn't help but look over at Paul, he just stood there, and listened.

"Ok well, time to go." Paul grumbled at last, Seth and Embry let out a groan.

"Well, see you, Summer!" Seth grinned, before taking off after Paul and Embry.

I let out an exhausted sigh, and Jake nodded, "Yea yea, get on."

I smiled as I hopped onto his back again, "I really missed this, Jake."

"Yea, me too."
