It was now 6:30, I had showered, changed, and was now curled up on the couch, in a very weird position. Bella still hadn't come home, neither has Charlie, I haven't seen him at all since I've been here. I'll try to catch him in the morning, if he doesn't get here.

I started to think about what happened earlier today, what really happened between those two? It sounded like a wild animal had attacked, but they weren't injured, and neither of them were shaken up, it just doesn't add up. I grit my teeth as the Quileute legends start flooding my mind, I started to suspect that they were real, but how?

I put my finger to my chin, my eyebrows knitted together. Could they be real? Is there any chance that it actually happened? Why didn't Jake tell me, if it was actually real? I let out a groan as I abruptly stood up from the couch, I automatically started pacing, trying to fit the pieces together. I wasn't raised to believe in such nonsense, but I just had a tiny bit of faith that I wasn't wrong. I had to ask Paul, Jake, or maybe even Bella.

I had a plan, and I wanted to figure it out. Before my mind could drift any further, there was a car honk coming from outside. My frown instantly turned into a grin, as I opened the front door, smiling at the truck driver.

"Hop in, princess." Paul teased, winking at me as I ran up to his truck.

I rolled my eyes in response as I flung open the car door and hopped in. "So, about the bonfire."

"The Quileute Legends, have you heard about them?" My heart started to race as he mentioned them.

I stuttered, "Y-yea, about that--"

Paul cut me off by slamming on his brakes, he immediately put his arm in front of me, trying to protect me. He snarled at what ran right by him.

"Stupid bloodsuckers..." He mumbled quietly, before turning to me and giving me a sweet smile.

"What was that?" I asked, a small ounce of fear falling over me.

"A deer, are you alright?" He asked, his voice getting quieter, trying to sooth me.

I simply nodded, Paul reluctantly started to drive again. He wasn't prepared for what just ran in front of him, but he could smell her. He had to tell the Cullens about this, maybe they had more information about the pest.

Paul parked a little ways from the bonfire, he quickly jogged to my side and opened the door for me.

"My lady." He said, dramatically bowing, looking up at me with a smirk.

I tried to be serious, but I couldn't help it, I started to giggle at his ridiculous behavior.

"Since when were you such a gentleman?" I taunted, raising an eyebrow up at him.

He just smiled, and grabbed my hand, squeezing it as we walked towards the fire. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw Bella, she was slouched over, and didn't seem to confident around them.

I reluctantly let go of Pauls hand, making him tilt his head in confusion, before he saw where I was going. I walked right up to Bella and glared at her.

"So, where were you?" I put my hands on my hips as she looked up at me, a tiny smile spreading across her face.

"I was out with Edward, but Jake brought me here.." She trailed off, obviously thinking about her boyfriend. I pursed my lips and shrugged, shuffling over to Paul.

He scooted over so I could sit next to him. I took my place beside him, and realized Seth was to my left. I grinned mischievously and poked his arm.
