I sat quietly, biting my lip unconsciously as they continued to discuss the plans for my pregnancy. I had told them I wanted to turn, but my mind was stuck. I didn't know if that was the good choice, there's a chance I would survive, even Carlisle didn't know exactly what would happen. Bella eyed me out of the corner of her eye, and saw the concerned look on my now pale face.

"Are you sure about this?" She said softly, immediately sitting down next to me, her hand reaching over to mine. My eyes glazed over as I turned my head towards her, my concerned glance never leaving my face.

"I-..I don't know. I don't know what I want. I don't want to be a vampire, and have him leave me..." A piece of my hair fell out from behind my ear, I turned my glance away from Bella. I fumbled with my fingers, earning a soft sigh from her.

"I don't know either, Summer. It's your decision but, I think you should do the right thing." She rubbed my back softly, before standing up and moving back over to the circle of vampires, who were now staring at me.

----

It has been 4 days since the debate about whether or not I would become a vampire, and we came to an agreement. Besides that, I was already the size of a large basketball, Carlisle was having a look at my stomach.

He stared at the monitor, before removing the probe from my oversized abdomen, and gave me a warm smile, "Your baby looks healthy, maybe only a few more days until you go into labor. I can also see the gender of the baby, do you wanna know?" His smile changed into an excited grin.

I raised a brow, and thought for a couple of seconds, "No, I want it to be a surprise." I smiled back at him, and he looked back at the monitor one more time before letting me sit up.

Of course I was curious, but I honestly wanted it to be a surprise. I had names already picked out for either genders, they were names that I personally thought were elegant and beautiful. For a girl, Lilian, and for a boy, Theo. I had back stories for both of them, and whichever gender I get I will be absolutely fine with, and I will love them for who they are.

I ran my fingers through my hair as Carlisle spoke up, "Are you scared?" He asked, reaching his hand out to me, pulling me up from the couch.

I shrugged at this question, "Well yea, but...I'm more nervous than scared. I don't know if Paul will show up, and that worries me, what if he doesn't?" My voice cracked as I stopped talking, and he just smiled.

"Of course he'll come, he is your soulmate after all." Carlisle winked, before giving me a small wave and moving upstairs. I stood there for a few seconds, thinking about what he had said. He was right, Paul was my soulmate, but the way he left, still worries me. I don't know why he left, but I just hope that it didn't have anything to do with me or our baby.

Before I could sit back down, a familiar face came into view, "How are you feeling?" Jasper asked, grabbing onto my hand and helping me sit down.

"I'm okay, just my back hurts." He nodded at this, and for some reason he couldn't keep his eyes off me, almost like he wanted to ask me something; and just as that thought ran through my mind his mouth seemed to explode, and he began to ask me questions.

"Did you find out what gender it will be? Names? What about a girl? I bet it's a boy-" I cut him off by placing my finger one his lips, immediately shushing him. He could of caught my hand if he wanted to, but he didn't.

"No, I wanted it to be a surprise, Lilian for a girl and Theo for a boy." I said in one breath, and he gave me sheepish grin, revealing his white teeth.

"Sorry, I'm really happy for you." A small chuckle escaped from his lips as he ran his fingers through his shiny hair. I couldn't help but grin at this, Jasper was like a brother to me, and without him I don't know what I would do.

Before I could reply, Bella, Edward, Renesmee, Carlisle, and Esme came down. Edward had his daughter tucked securely in his arms, while Carlisle had his arm wrapped around Esme's shoulder. Jasper sighed deeply, standing up and moving over to where they were.

I pursed my lips as they all huddled together, and talked in hushed voices. I strained to hear them, but couldn't of course, human hearing was far from superior to vampires, they could hear each other when they were barely speaking in a whisper. I caught the gaze of Edward, who quickly broke it and began to talk once more. Whatever it was, they were concerned about it, and I don't think it was about me.

----

Paul let out an aggravated sigh, he stared at the moon that was huge in the sky, proudly standing its ground. The wind rustled the leaves, shook the trees, and ran through his dark hair. He sat there quietly, thinking about Summer, and his unborn baby. The thoughts clouded his mind, and he was mad at himself. He was having an argument with himself, about whether or not this was a good idea in the first place.

He was worried for her safety, and if she died thanks to his stupidity, he couldn't bear to live with it, she was his sunshine and his world, and he honestly felt bad about leaving her there all alone with those vampires. Paul was sitting quietly on a tree branch, overlooking a lake.

Before his thoughts could continue on, an excruciating pain filled his body, and he let out a cry in pain, allowing one thought to come to his mind, the realization hitting him hard, the thought almost like a blow to the head.

"It's-..coming."
