I pursed my lips as Paul just stood there, his eyes were closed and his breathing got heavy.

"Paul, you alright?" I quietly spoke, trying not to upset him.

"Y..yea, I'm fine." His voice was quiet, too. Paul looked down at me and gave me a heartwarming smile that sent my heart racing.

"Umm, let's go then!" I said, trying to change the subject.

Paul hesitated for a second, before nodding, and taking off into the woods. His arms tightened around me, I have never felt this safe before, even with Jake. Paul was faster than Jake too, so it was harder to focus my attention on his face. I wanted to just stare at him, he really was beautiful.

He looked down at me, catching my gaze. I blushed slightly, and looked down towards my hands. Paul couldn't help but smile at this, he had finally found his imprint. Many things were going through his mind, he has never officially had a girlfriend before, just friends with benefits.

Paul wanted to stay with Summer for as long as they lived, he couldn't and wouldn't live without her. She was his world, his stars, and his moon. Everything about her was perfect to him, the way she smiles, the way she talks, how she bites her lip when she's nervous, he loved it all. He knows that he had just met her, and it would probably take a while before she fell for him, but he was determined. He will be anything she needs, a friend, a lover, anything.

Paul kept sneaking glances at me, which made me blush. His face was toned, and so was his body, of course. He started to slow down, "We're here." He said softly, gently setting me down.

Paul quickly ran up to the door, and before he opened it, he whispered something to me.

"Don't stare." He said quietly, his breath tickling my ear.

I nodded up at him, slightly confused as to what he was talking about. He opened the door, and held it open for me. I gave him a warm smile as I entered the house, everyone immediately had their eyes on me. I recognized a few of them, but there were some people I didn't know.

"Hi I'm Emily, you must be Summer." The woman was the first one to speak, and Paul must of been talking about her when he said don't stare. She had a nasty looking scar on her face, but I didn't question it.

"It's nice to meet you, Emily." I said with a smile, and her face lit up.

Paul spoke before anyone else could, "That's Sam, and Quil." Pointing towards a male that looked even more serious than Paul, and another boy, that reminded me of Embry.

I waved to them as Paul placed his hand on my lower back, his warmth immediately engulfing me. He led me over to the couch, and gently pulled me down with him. All the guys had a grin on their faces, and I shifted uncomfortably. Paul glared at them, making Embry chuckle.

"Good luck with him." Embry said quietly, with a snicker.

Paul of course heard this and he gritted his teeth, "Be quiet." His voice was low and intense, like usual.

I placed my hand on his arm, and he looked over at me. His gaze softened, and I gave him a quick smile, before turning back towards everyone else. That's when the door opened once more, Jake stomping inside. The door slammed behind him as he glared at everyone in the room, Paul stood up, along with Sam.

"Outside, now." Sam said, using his alpha voice as Jake and Paul headed outside.

Emily came over to me, sitting down gently beside me. "Don't worry about Paul, dear. Everything will be alright."

I keep my eyes on the door, when I heard Sam shouting 'stop', and another sound following. It sounded like wolves, whimpering, growling, and the sounds of attack. On instinct, I jumped up and kept my eyes glued to the door. The other guys either snorted, or let out a sigh. Emily stood up with me, and touched my shoulder.

"What's going on out there? Is Paul going to be okay? What about Jake?" I bombarded Emily with questions, facing her with a worried expression.

She gave me an apologetic smile, and spoke softly, "Everything will be alright."

"Stop it, now!" Sams voice boomed from outside, and the fighting seemed to subside. I heard footsteps, and Sam came into the house. He grabbed two pairs of shorts from the couch, and headed back out.

A minute later, both boys came back inside, Paul was glaring at Jake, and Jake was returning the favor. I quickly moved towards them, Paul looked towards me and his eyes narrowed, a smile coming to his face.

"What happened? Are you hurt?" I asked, checking for wounds on the males body. He just laughed and pulled me towards him, which caught me off guard.

"Im okay, nothing happened." He shrugged, before pulling away and giving me another sweet smile that made my heart melt. I knew it wasn't just nothing, but I decided to drop it.

Paul grabbed my hand and sat me down on the couch, for some reason it just felt right with him. I could be myself around him, and I could tell him anything and everything. I looked up at him, before resting my head on his shoulder. His body was burning up, but it was nice. Paul let out a soft sigh, as Jake exited the house once more.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, and eyed the other guys. They were grinning at him, everyone knew that Paul was a protective guy, and they also knew about his temper, which Summer had no idea about. Of course, she saw how he glared at everyone, and how he gave people attitude; but she hasn't seen what he does when he really gets mad. That worries him, what if she leaves him because he scares her?

I let out a soft yawn, my eyes closing. I heard Paul mumble something to the others, before looking down at me.

"Hey, Summer," he said softly, shaking me gently, "we are having a bonfire tonight, wanna come?" I let out a grunt in response, before lifting my head from his shoulder.

"Sure, sounds like fun." I grinned up at him, and his heart melted. He loved this girl with all his heart, he wanted to kiss her right now, but he held himself back from doing so.

"Alright, I'll pick you up at seven?" He released me as I stood, stretching.

"Yea, perfect time. Gives me three hours to nap." I smiled at him again, and he chuckled. Paul grabbed my hand and walked towards the door.

"Cya later!" I waved to them, and they all waved back.

Paul lifted me off the ground, and before we took off into the dark forest, his eyes met mine. He stared at me, a warm feeling flooding his chest. I couldn't help but snuggle closer to him, and he let out a relaxed sigh.

"Okay, you ready?" He finally managed to pull away from my gaze, I wanted to stare into his hazel eyes forever, if I could.

"Yes." I gave him a simple answer, my thoughts lost in his eyes.

He nodded, and started jogging into the woods, his grip tightening again, trying to hide her away from any danger, or anything that even had eyes. He wanted her all to himself, she was his imprint, after all. Paul smiled to nobody in particular, that sentence repeating in his mind.

shes my imprint.
