AUTHORS NOTE:

Howdy doody! So this chapter will be based around the Newborn army fight, BUT I'm going to change it up a bit for a few reasons. I'm sorry if you were excited to see me write the actual events, but I wanted to make it my own. Kind of? My apologies!

Question, should I write longer chapters, and another thing, would you guys like a sexual scene? It wont be overly sexual if I do decide to do one, just some fluff to add some excitement.

----

I awoke to the sound of people talking outside the tent. The warmth that was there last night was now gone, and I was alone in the the small tent. I sat up in the sleeping bag, noticing Bellas dark blue sleeping bag was gone.

I rubbed my head, unzipping my bag and crawling out of the tent. I made eye contact with Edward, and he gave me a friendly smile. I turned towards the other figure, which was Seth. I stood up, and before I could ask where Bella was, Edward spoke.

"Bella is on her way back, she should be here any second." And just as he said that, Jacob came running out of the woods with Bella securely in his arms. He gently let her slip out of his arms, and Edward immediately went to her side. I looked over at Jake, and he smiled warmly at me.

"Jacob, where are you going?" I asked, as he turned his back towards us.

"To the battlefield." His answer was short and sweet, but it slightly upset me. I don't like when people give me short answers for some reason.

I crossed my arms, and he peered over his shoulder, "Don't worry, I won't get injured. I'll keep an eye on Paul, too." The last part tugged at her heart, her eyes fell to the ground, and Jacob mumbled something, before shifting and taking off into the woods.

I glanced towards Seth, he was in his wolf form as well. I have never seen his form, he looked like the Mexican Wolf, but smaller. I strolled towards Seth, and he stared at me as I approached. He let out a soft whine as I placed my hand on his head.

"I'm glad you're here, Seth." Was all I managed to get out before Edward let out a hiss.

Seth growled, and moved in front of me. Edward pushed Bella behind him, something was definitely up. He read my thoughts and he snarled.

"Victoria and her little companion." His hiss rang out, and I could feel the chills spread across my body.

Thats when two vampires landed in front of them. Victoria, which she knew, and another one. He looked familiar, but she couldn't place a finger on it. Victoria glanced her way, and gave her a menacing glare.

"What did I tell you, human filth?" She snarled angrily, eyeing my every move. Edward looked at me, but his eyebrows raised, and his eyes showed a sense of shock.

He couldn't read Summers mind, but he was just a second ago. His eyebrows furrowed, but decided to focus on the problem at hand.

"I-..you have no authority over me." I snapped back, and Victoria let out a piercing laugh.

"I'll have your head, but before I do that...you're going to watch your stupid sister die." This time, looking over at Edward, but she directed it towards Bella.

Seth growled, and I could feel the tension in the air. It was almost like time stopped, before I knew what was happening I was on top of Seth, running deep into the woods.

The boy and Victoria had attacked, or tried to at least. Edward managed to dodge her attack, swifting sweeping Bella off her feet. We were now running side by side, and I glanced over at Bella, she had a frightened look on her face, and I really don't blame her.

I clung to Seth, and buried my face in his fur. I could hear Victoria shouting from behind us, "Riley sweetheart, get the mutt, I'll handle the other two."

Ah, his name was Riley. Wait, Riley? He was the boy from the newspaper, the missing one; but that didn't matter. He was trying to kill us.

Edward stopped, and we were now standing in a cleaing, the sun barely covered by the tall trees that took over Forks. Riley and Victoria smirked, I jumped off of Seth just in time. Riley ran towards Seth, and Victoria eyed me and Bella.

I stepped back, sweat dripping down from my forehead. All I could think about was Paul. His voice flooded my mind, and my eyes shut tightly, I wanted to be strong; for him, but there was nothing I could do. I was just a human, I'm not a werewolf or a vampire, I'm human.

----

Bella and I watched in desperation, we were holding hands, worrying for both of our loved ones, and our dear friends. I wonder if Paul is okay? That same question kept running into my mind, and I couldn't shake it away.

Seth ripped off Rileys arm, hurling it at Victoria just as she leaped for Edward. She was caught off guard, and she fell back onto the hard, cold snow.

Seth dragged Riley behind a rock, and tore him apart. Limp by limp. He walked back out, a leg dangling from his mouth.

Edward pinned Victoria to the ground, and in a swift motion, ripped off her disgusting head. Bella ran over to Edward, and they embraced. I eyed Seth, and decided to walk over to him.

He dropped the leg as he saw me come over, and I smiled proudly, "I'm glad you're okay, Seth." I playfully scratched behind his ears, and he let out a satisfied whimper.

He pulled away, and motioned with his head to look behind me. As I did this, I came face to face with a wolf I was very familiar with, Paul. I flung my arms around his neck, and he whined in response, nuzzling me gently.

I didn't want to let go. I was so glad that he was okay, I even started to cry. Paul looked into my eyes, and delicately brought his tongue up to cheek, licking away the salty tears that were now free falling.

I heard someone clear their throat, and Edward was standing a few feet away from us, "Thank you."

The wolves just nodded, as Seth ran into the woods, searching for his sister and pack.

"Im glad everyones okay." I said softly to myself, placing my hand on my chin.

I turned my attention back to Paul, and his eyes fogged over. He looked me straight in the eyes, and somehow I knew...

Someone isn't okay.
