It's 7 am and I dragged myself downstairs, my hair still in tangles. I rubbed my eyes as I walked to the counter where my mother was having a cup of tea and was going over something from work.

"Honey, aren't you late for school yet?" My mom's head popped up as I sat down. She stood up to prepare my breakfast. I laid my head down over my arms on the counter and shut my eyes.

"My head hurts..." I whined. Mom set a plate of toast and butter before me and I furrowed my brows at it.

"What's the matter honey? Are you sick?" She moved around the counter and touched my forehead. Then, her hand trailed down to my neck. "How do you feel?"

"Uhhg not so good." I pushed my plate of toast and rested my head back down on the counter. My mom's soothing hand rubbed my back up and down.

"I'll get you some medicine..." She walked over to the living room and returned a few seconds later. She then proceeded to the fridge to get a pitcher of water and poured me a glass. "Here honey, you'll feel a little bit better after a while." She watched me and brushed my long blonde hair with her hand as I downed the pill with water.

She returned to her seat and continued flipping through her notes. I watched her intently as I gathered the courage to ask her a question.

"Mom..." I started.

"Hmm?" her eyes were still glued to her work.

"Uhm... ahhh." And then the perfect excuse hit me. "You know, Lena... I ran into her yesterday and she was asking me where Harry moved?" I crossed my fingers under the counter, hoping it would work.

"Thompson honey, I already-"

"No, like, where exactly? What's... what's his address? I think she wants to visit him?" I cringed my nose at the thought. I know that me asking about Harry's address may seem normal to her, but I just can't get over that thought that I might sound suspicous or guilty of something. I just don't want it to somehow show or reflect in my little actions or facial expression while asking the question.

"Oh really? I saw her at the store just days ago too. But here..." She tore a piece of paper from her notebook and scribbled something. "Just give it to her the next time you see her."

I took the paper in my hands. I was so thankful that she didn't think of just texting Lena the address or both of them will surely be confused. I read the address over and over again, wondering how in the hell I am going to get there.

"Honey?" I just realised that my mom has called my name probably already 10 times now. I quickly folded the piece of paper and pocketed it.

"Yeah? Sorry."

"Are you feeling better? Because I have to go now." She gathered her things one by one and shoved it in her bag.

"Uhm, actually mom, can you call my school? I really want to rest today, school has been really stressful the past few weeks... maybe that's why I'm having a headache."

"Oh, okay honey if that's what you want." She carried her things and walked towards the house phone near the fridge. She dialed the number of my school, and I just waited, anticipating pretty much everything today.

"Hello, this is Lily Styles' mother... yes, uhm she's sick and won't be coming to school today. Yes... okay thank you." She put the phone down and came closer to check my temperature again. "I'm going to give Vivian a call-"

"No mom!" I said before I could stop my big mouth. She furrowed her brows and gave me a questioning look. "Uhm... I mean, I'll be fine mom, I just need some sleep."

She sighed and walked towards me. "Okay Lily." She curled a stray strand of hair behind my ear. "The office said they'll just send you today's homework." She then gave me a peck on my forehead.

"Sounds great." I gave her a smile and jumped from my seat. "I guess I'll go get some sleep now."

"Call me if you need anything."

"Okay. Bye mom." I watched as she stepped out of the house and closed the door. As soon as It shut, I ran up the stairs and into my room. I went straight to my window and peaked out of my curtain. Mom was then pulling out into the road. My heart raced as I watched her car slowly disappear.

When it was already out of sight, all the excitement in my body kicked in. I quickly took the piece of paper out my pocket and placed it under a book on my bed side table. I stripped from all of my clothes and grabbed my towel to jump into the shower. It wasn't till I was putting toothpaste on my brush that I realised my hands were shaking. Maybe I was nervous because I haven't seen Harry in so long that I don't know how he's going to react when he sees me. There's only one thing that I want to find out. That is if he still wants to be with me. If I knock on his door and he opens it with a college girl clinging onto him then I'll let him go. But if he opens his door and pulled me in his arms... I'll find a way to make us work.

Only if I knew that this would happen, that he'll just leave me behind then I wouldn't have said the things I did when we were in the car the night I broke my ankle. The only reason that I said those things was that I never thought he could leave me. I thought he loved me too much... but as it turns out, it's me who can't be without him.

After I showered I put on a pair of leggings and a black hoodie. I covered my feet with a pair of socks and stepped in my boots. It's almost December. It doesn't snow much in this part of the state but I think it would already soon.

Before I left the house, I took Harry's address again and placed it in my pocket, not really sure how I'm gonna get there. I grabbed my backpack and slung it on one shoulder then ran downstairs. As I stepped out of our front door, I checked if anyone was outside, and luckily nobody was. I jogged towards the bus stop and waited anxiously. I couldn't stop tapping my foot or looking sideways. A few minutes later, the bus arrived which would bring me out of this town. Its double doors opened and I went straight to the last row. I slowly scanned the faces of the few people inside the bus, but I didn't know any of them which was a relief. As I sat in silence at the back, I googled Harry's address and spent the rest of the trip waiting and thinking of all the things that can possibly happen when he finally opens his door for me.
