"Hey, so did you get my text message?" I closed my locker door and Samantha appeared beside me. She was looking like she always does, pink lip tint, which she tried so hard to make it look like her natural lip color, her curly hair in a bun and a longsleeved shirt paired with ripped jeans.

"The one about the party tonight?" I tried to look as uninterested as possible because partying is the last thing I wanna do right now. It's not even on my list anyway.

"Yup. It's gonna be great. Clark's parties are always great." Her eyeballs almost rolled to the back of her head in the mention of Clark's name, who is only the richest and most attractive guy in school.

"Who throws a party on Monday's Sam? I'm not going." I clutched my books tighter in my arms and walked away. Seconds later I heard Sam's shoes behind me.

"Lily! Come on, you've never missed a party before." She appeared on my side again, trying to match the fast pace of my feet.

"I know, so please let me miss this one." I turned around the corner and walked into my math class. The room is slowly being filled and I went straight to our usual seats in the middle row.

"Okay... what is it Lily? I know something's wrong." Sam sat beside me as she threw her backpack on the floor between us. "Lillian noticed it too, you've been in a bad mood this past few weeks." Just at the mention of her name, Lillian stepped into the room. She made her way around the chairs and placed her things on the desk beside mine. Great! Now I have two annoying girls on either side of me.

"Is that right Lillian?" Sam looked to Lillian for support.

"Is what right?" She sat down and immediately leaned forward just like what Sam was doing. This is truly suffocating.

"Lily's been in a really pissy mood lately. Uhgg, please just tell her to come to the party tonight." Sam rolled her eyes and crossed her arms on her chest, waiting for Lillian to say something.

"What?" Lillian's eyes widened. "But you never miss a party. You're always the one to know where the parties are!" She whined. I just wish I could slpa them both in the face to make them realise that I am not in the party mood and that I won't be in quite a while. Maybe till my heart heals, which is never.

"It's not a big deal. I'm having... problems, uhm, at home. But it's nothing... my mom and I can handle it." I shrugged and tried to make the best excuse I could think of.

"Lily..." Sam placed a hand on my shoulder. "You know you can tell us everything right? We're always here to help you." Lillian nodded in agreement and then batted her long lashes.

"I know guys. I'm fine-"

"Okay then so you'll come to the party?" Sam's tone suddenly went back to normal. Why did I ever think I could get out of this?

"Uhgg okay fine!" I shrugged her hand off of me and made the most annoyed expression I've ever made. "Just shut up about it already okay? Or I'll change my mind!"

"Yeah okay. Don't be so mean about it..." Sam and Lillian retreated to their own seats and I was very thankful to get some peace for an hour of math class.

"Bitch." I muttered under my breath. A few moments later, Mr. Torres entered the classroom and the class started.

"You okay?" I turned around, and there was Travis with two red cups in his hands. He offered me one of the cups and I took it.

"Thanks." I said before taking a huge gulp.

"Well you haven't answered my question." Travis smirked, showing his dimple on one cheek. I stared at it, picturing Harry's smile. It was bad enough to see Travis everyday in school because his presence alone reminds me of how jealous and insecure Harry gets when I'm around him. Jealous, because he thinks Travis likes me. I actually feel quite guilty for not telling him, but Travis and I have a little bit of a past. It's a nice piece of a story to tell, but not to a jealous boyfriend. Then insecure, because he thinks Travis is the kind of guy I should be with despite the fact the he hates him.
