I paced my quarters, awaiting Rose. She needed to be punished again. When I get my hands on her she's going to wish she never spoke to the prisoner. She's going to wish she did everything exactly as I told her to, she's going to wish that she acted like the perfect daughter. As for Raven, he betrayed me, I was the only one left of our group and he left. There would be no mercy for him. I don't care if I have to kill him myself, he will die.
I walked away from Alex, telling him and myself that it was better this way. Or was it? Was it better when I kept the truth of Jest away from Alex? Jest has only been back for a little longer than a month. I decided that it would distract them from the mission of getting Rose on our side, I never thought that I would have to send Jest in to rescue Alex. This whole operation is getting complicated.
As I watched over Princess Rose, the thorns twitched, as if they wanted to help Rose wherever her conscious had taken her. I could help but wonder about her. How did she survive with a tyrant for a mother? How did she get so close to Raven? The one that stuck out the most, the one that I was most curious about is, why did she save Alex? A liar, and someone from the White Queendom. I try not to judge everyone based on where they're from, but Alex kind of makes it hard not to.
