He ended up sleeping over at Yoongi's apartment.

That was a given. Jungkook wouldn't have been able to live with himself if he left Yoongi alone in his time of need.

Thankfully, the older did eat something - a couple bites of the ramen noodles Jungkook made for him (as there weren't many options, Yoongi didn't keep his apartment well-stocked) but it was better than nothing.

And shortly after that Jungkook coaxed his boyfriend into brushing his teeth and going to bed.

The older fell asleep some time after two. Warmly cuddled up next to Jungkook on his bed, their limbs tangled, chests pressed together. Yoongi lacked the strength to fully hug Jungkook, but he tried, his hands gently touching the boy's back as he nuzzled against him.

Throughout the night Jungkook held him close. Running his fingers through Yoongi's hair in a calming manner, trying to relax his breathing while hoping it would be relaxing to the other as well. And it must have worked eventually. Or perhaps Yoongi was just too tired to stay awake anymore.

Jungkook didn't fall asleep till somewhere around four in the morning. Partially thanks to his insomnia, as well as his restless heart wanting to make sure Yoongi was okay, asleep and reading peaceably.

Four a.m., and waking at seven a.m. By this time Yoongi was still fast asleep, to Jungkook's relief, and he would have allowed him to continue sleeping, but the younger really had to use the bathroom, and untangling himself from the baby koala proved to be quite the task.

Yoongi's eyes fluttered open before Jungkook could climb out of bed.

"Y-Yoongi, just go back to sleep, okay?" He whispered. "Please?"

The man outstretched his arms, as if silently pleading for Jungkook to join him again.

Oh, no. No, my heart. He really is like a baby koala.

"I...I just need to use the bathroom, Yoongi, I'll be right back."

A pout. A heart-wrenching, soul-crushing gaze of disappointment.

"Lightning fast. You won't even know I left."

There was a bathroom in Yoongi's room. Jungkook made a dash for the open door, shut it behind him, and was out in another two minutes, drying his washed hands against his shirt rather than taking the time to use a towel.

Yoongi still had his arms outstretched. His heart aching at the sight, Jungkook hurried over to him and embraced his boyfriend again. The warmth it brought to them both, more so in this moment than it ever had.

"Good morning, Yoongi..."

"...morning."

He spoke. First thing in the morning. Jungkook saw this as a good sign. He pulled away from the hug, but Yoongi's hands didn't let go their delicate hold on his shirt.

"You...stayed here?"

"Of course I did," Jungkook said, openly shocked by the question. "Why would I leave?"

The older shrugged.

"I wouldn't leave you, Yoongi." He cupped Yoongi's cheek in his hand, feeling a blush on his own cheek as he pressed a kiss to the man's temple. "You...you really worried me, you know?"

A guilty gaze. Yoongi looked away.

"How are you feeling this morning?"

"Some..." Slow-spoken. "...better."

"Some better??" It brought a smile to Jungkook's face, and he gave the older another quick hug. "That's great! That's really great, I'm...I'm glad to hear that, Yoongi. Do you want breakfast?"
