Season 6A
Sheriff Stilinski says to the boy, "Alex, you know we're having trouble locating your parents. And since you can't remember anything, we have a method, an unusual method that might have you remember. But I need you to be okay with it. I also need you to know that it's probably going to hurt."
Alex shakes his head. "I don't care. I just want to find my mom and dad."
"You ready?" Scott asks, kneeling in front of Alex.
He exhales and nods. Scott flicks his claws and inserts them into the back of his neck. Alex gasps and his eyes roll into the back of his head while Scott's close.
A few minutes later, Scott's eyes open and he steps away. "What did you see?" Stiles asks.
"I say a guy on a horse." Scott answers.
"Horse?"
"He had a gun."
Sheriff looks at the three of us. "Okay, a guy with a gun. That sounds like my department, not yours."
I frown, glancing to Alex. "What about his parents? What happened to them?"
Scott shakes his head. "I don't know. That's all I remember. But...I got this feeling."
"What kind of feeling?" Stiles asks.
"They're coming back." Alex says. "They're coming for me."
I follow Stiles, Malia, and Lydia out to a car. The car has a broken windshield and the passenger's door is missing. "I don't think they're dead." Lydia says.
Malia shrugs. "They're dead. Probably torn apart. The only thing I don't get is why there's no blood."
Lydia frowns. "They're not dead. If they were dead, I'd sense it."
"If they were alive, I'd smell it." Malia shoots back.
Scott looks around. "Yeah, I'm not getting anything either."
Stiles whips around to his best friend. "Scott, what are you talkin' about? You were in his head for four minutes. I timed it."
"Well, it's not an exact science. And he's a kid. Maybe he's too freaked out to remember."
Malia frowns. "Why does it matter if they're dead? Dead is dead."
"Okay, if it's just a robbery, we can't help them. And if it's something supernatural my dad can't help them."
Lydia narrows her eyes at Stiles. "It sounds like you want it to be supernatural."
"It's been, like, three months since anything's happened."
Lydia rolls her eyes. "Yeah, and once a week you drag me out of bed like I'm some sort of supernatural metal detector."
He shrugs. "Okay, it is way more often than that."
I cross my arms. "It's basically every night, Stiles. I thought I told you to stop."
He narrows his eyes at me. "I can't stop if I know something's going on. You can't tell me that you think this is just some series of impossible coincidences?"
"What I'm saying is maybe that wouldn't be so bad." Lydia retorts, walking away, followed by Malia.
Stiles sighs in annoyance and opens the car door as he continues staring at the windshield. Scott says bluntly, "You're staring at a broken windshield."
Stiles says, "There's something wrong with it."
"It's broken. And it wasn't a magic bullet. It was a regular bullet that blew out a regular windshield." He motions to other cars. "Just like that one, and that one, and that one."
