MATE DRAMA
AZAZEL's P.O.V
I moved away from Kruel as I saw a slight movement. I did what Trenen suggested and I could see that it worked even though I very much wish that it didn't.
I hated Kruel with every fibre in my body but I couldn't kill him. The stupid mate bond wouldn't allow it.
I stared outside the window, watching the few individuals I put in charge patrolling the entire pack. I had to make sure nothing out of the usual happened while I was busy saving the life of my hot-head of a mate.
"Fuck." My mate's voice spoke.
"You're finally awake. Though that wasn't the first thing I expected to hear but then again.... that's the only language your mouth seems to be fluent with." I commented still staring outside.
"Where am I?" His deep, raspy voice came again.
"In heaven, obviously." I sarcastically remarked.
"If you're here, then we're most likely in hell." He chuckled. "Why are you here anyway?"
"I'm here to make sure you get better quickly so that you and your entire pack of disrespectful mutts leave with immediate effect. I don't like how we're sharing the same oxygen and I want to get over the rejection process." I faced him, making sure each word sank into that mind of his.
"Rejection? Was that part of the deal?" He raised a brow at me.
"Don't cross my line of patience, Alpha Kruel. I know that you're aware of our agreement and you're going to follow through once Dr. Hunter says so." I authoritatively said, crossing my hands over my chest, daring him to defy me.
"And what if I don't follow through?" And to think he wouldn't push my buttons any further.
"Then there's no need to let you live anymore. I have more than one way to break our mate bond." I smirk at the disbelief on his face that he quickly covered up with his usual emotionless expression.
Just then, Dr. Hunter walked in. Quickly bowing to both Kruel and I, he walked over to Kruel.
"How are you feeling, Alpha?" I was so close to cussing the forty-six year old doctor out for calling Kruel 'alpha'.
"Like total shit." Kruel responded, not glancing at Dr. Hunter once.
"Well, we could all thank the Moon Goddess that you're even awake. I thought you wouldn't make it out alive because your injuries were anything but normal." Dr. Hunter told Kruel who kept staring at me for reasons unknown to me. Rolling my eyes, I walked towards the exit but was stopped by Dr. Hunter's words as I held the door handle.
"Thank you for healing him, Alpha Azazel." Not daring to look back at either of them, I walked out of the room and out of the hospital.

I grunted for the sixth time from being knocked down by Trenen.
"Oh come on, Zaze. You can do better than that." Trenen chuckled as he hovered over me with my arms pinned above my head as we lay on the training field. I decided I needed a break from all that mate drama so I asked Trenen to come train with me but my mind kept drifting off to many other things and he was taking it to his advantage.
"How can I concentrate if you keep using that ridiculous nickname on me?" I pushed him over, my thighs on either side of his waist as I straddled him, holding both his arms above his head which was way too easy, instantly letting me know that he wasn't going to try to struggle out of my hold.
