The stars are many today.

The dark sky is filled with them and it's so beautiful it looks like a dress full of sparkling diamonds.

Dave just dropped me a few blocks from home saying he has some "important" business to take care of.... ( As if I'm not important) And kissed me a goodnight kiss.

He also said that he's dealing with some family issues that's why he's off. At least he's telling me his problems. It makes me feel special.

I pass by Tray's house. They're wrapped in a heated discussion in the center of their small dinning room. Tray's dad, tall and looks exactly like Tray but with less black hair, is shaking his head and gesturing at the sport's magazine in his hands.

Tray's mom, short with dark-brown hair, is rubbing her fingers against her temples. I spot Tray sitted beside a girl, I only see her back, but she seems extra friendly with him. Her hair is tied up in a neat bun and I hate to admit it but she seems pretty.

Tray then leans and whispers something to her and she laughs so loud the whole neighborhood echos with her laughter.

A stone is stuck in my throat.

Why do I feel this way? Tray being so close to her disgusts me.

Tray does the unexpected. He turns and stares straight through me. He seems shaken. The rest of his body turns to face me and what I see makes my heart drop to my feet.

THEY ARE HOLDING HANDS.

I should really stop freaking out. He can date or make out with anyone and sleep with whomever he wants.

I'm still standing like a statue.

Instead of waving or smiling or anything, I run up the stairs to my house. I glance over as I'm opening the front door. Tray is still watching me.

His eyes glued on me.

No one in the dinning room notices his stare.

I slam the door and race upstairs. I throw myself on the bed and laugh.

I shouldn't get angry over some creatures holding hands.

That's stupid.

I'm stupid.

I walk towards my window and press my palm and forehead on the glass. I listen to their laughing and it breaks me. They're so happy, a whole family.

I brush my teeth and change into my PJs. I'm not yet sleepy so I'll just download the Wattpad app and find a nice book. Polly suggested the app. I'm not a fan of books, especially the ones with long chapters.

I'm busy reading a fanfic book when Tray's lights flick on. Good thing my curtains are "see-me-through." I can perfectly see him but he can't see me.

God bless the hands of that tailor.

Tray throws his shirt on the floor and walks to his closet.

Wait, he's getting dressed and I'm seriously looking at him.

He bangs his closet and walks over to his window.

I freeze.

Don't say it.

Don't say it.

Don't say it.

Okay, SAY IT!

" Hal...?"

I roll my eyes in the dark.

"Hal?" He calls again.

I'm still in bed. What does he want anyway?
