" You're not going to tell him?" Polly yells.
"Not now, we both have so much going on and I......"
" You're scared?" She cuts me off.
" Yea. I'm scared of how he'll react. Will he still love me? Is he going to blame me? Is he going to LEAVE ME?!"
I push back a mass of hair and look down at the kit.
" Hal, I understand and I know what you're feeling right now, but please don't wait till the last time. It's his responsibility," She pauses, " He has to know that he's going to be a father."
Everything Polly is saying is absolutely true.
Tray has the right know.
" Okay, I'll tell him when I find the right time."
Polly smiles sweetly and I hug her one more time.

I pull away before Tray's lips touch mine.
" What's wrong?" He asks with a surprise look on his face.
I shrug.
" Nothing."
" Okaaaaaaay," He says though he's not buying any of that.
There's a long silence and I can tell he's waiting for me to explain or atleast tell him something. I take in slow breaths and try to come up with words.
It's hard to come up with the perfect sentence with Tray holding both my hands and looking passionately into my eyes. I swallow and open my mouth.
" How was your day?"
Tray chuckles, " Why you asking me that?"
" Can't I ask my boyfriend how he spent his day?"
Tray takes my face in his hands and strokes my cheeks with his thumbs.
" I love you," He suddenly says.
I drop my gaze to his Adam's Apple.
Tray takes my hand and kisses it.
" Tray, I-----"
The smell of burning popcorns distracts me. I rush to the kitchen and switch off the machine.
Tray is behind me.
" Need help with that?" He asks as I scoop the popcorns and pour them into a big white bowl.
I shake my head.
We walk back to the living room and Tray grabs some movies from the bookshelf.
" Let's see," He lays the movies on the table and I pick out my favorite.
FIVE FEET APART
" Really? Again?"
Tray sits next to me and pulls the covers up.
I grab the remote and press play.

The shrieking of my alarm wakes me up. I punch the thing and it falls on the ground. My eyes are still closed as I run a hand over Tray's side.
Empty.
" Tray?" I call and throw the covers off me.
I don't remember getting to bed last night and my head is five minutes from exploding. The crying I did yesterday has messed my eyes real bad. I groan and head downstairs.
" Tray! Hello?"
Nothing.
I see a note saying he went to the store and I shouldn't wait for him.
Is Tray avoiding me?
Does he already know?
