I wake up the next morning wrapped tightly in Tray's strong arms. The feel of his skin against mine is everything as I roll out of his grip.
He pulls me back.
" I need to pee." I whisper and he let's go. He slowly opens his eyes and stretches. Then he runs his hands over his chest and adjust his pants. The bulge in his thin pants makes me blush unwantedly, I turn my eyes away.
"What time is it?" He yawns.
" Time to pee." I glance over at my phone.
" It's 10.30 a.m."
He swiftly jumps up and crawls out of bed, a worried look on his face.
"Oh shit." He runs his hands over his face and yawns again.
" I had to go somewhere at eight."
" School?" I ask as I open my window.
" No. I was gonna help my friend with something. But now that I'm late, I'll stay here with you."
A smile crosses his handsome face before he leans down and place a short kiss on my lips, his breathing soft.
" I'll go make breakfast while you take a shower, okay?"
I bit my lip and scamble across my room. "I'll be fast. I promise."

The park is peaceful today. Tray and I are strolling slowly, hand in hand. He's kinda making it up to me for acting stupid that day.
" Can we eat now?" He asks and rubs his tummy in a funny way.
We choose a comfortable spot under a big tree with purple flowers. Tray helps me spread out the picnic and grabs a sandwich...It's smoked salmon with cream cheese and sliced avocado.
" You like it?" He nods and sticks his thumb out. I grab a green apple and eat it. I hate red apples, they remind me of Snow white plus they're tasteless.
Ugh!
My stubborn boyfriend sips his cold juice and stretches his long legs. His black jeans are well worn and they match with the baggy white long shirt he's wearing. I find myself admiring his sense of style, God, he has good taste.
" I was thinking," He says and sets his sandwich on a plate. " Can we like go for a holiday vacation? Just us two." He turns and faces me with his whole body.
" Well...as long as it's some place safe."
" Wait, You think I'll take you to some dead end place? Like a horror movie?"
" No, that's not what I said...," I pause. " Where is this place anyway?"
He stares at his hands. " I still haven't decided yet... It's not a popular place, but it's beautiful."
" Okay."
The rest of our lunch is filled with smiles, laughs and kisses. It starts getting warmer under the canopy and the air turns hot. We don't spend much time at the park since I still have to be on time for my shift. The drive is silent as we listen to some trap on the radio. I take time to study Tray on the drive and I can't help but notice his eyes.
There's something about his brown eyes.
The kind of deep brown that looks like honey, full pots of it. The brown that startles you every time they're lifted in your direction. The kind of brown that makes you ache for them to look at you again.
Tray has those beautiful eyes.
And his laugh. I'd forgotten how easy it is. He cracks a joke and we both burst laughing. It's about something dumb but it's way funny. I press my palm against his chest and feel his heart. That powerful thing is beating for me, every beat is meant for me. He smiles and wraps his other free hand tightly around mine. The sensation of his skin against mine is astounding.
What is he doing to me?
