Tray stays silent.
Everything stops.
He turns to Dave and grab him by his collar, dragging him outside and downstairs.
I follow close behind and step outside the cold night.
" Stay away from us! You hear me?!" Tray yells at Dave.
Dave falls down the steps.
Tray turns back and storms inside.
I watch as Dave staggers slowly and disappears into the darkness. I sigh and walk back inside. Tray is sitted on the kitchen stool, holding a glass of water.
" Why?" He asks, looking at me.
" Why?" He goes again.
" You were dying, Tray. What the fact was I supposed to do?"
" So you had to choose him? Of all people?" He spits as he plays with the glass he's holding.
" I DIDN'T CHOOSE HIM! He showed up and surprisingly, he had your blood type. He helped you for crying out loud!"
I yell and our eyes lock.
A minute passes, two, three, four.
" I'm going to take a shower and sleep." I say and walk back upstairs. I grab my fresh PJs from the drawer and lay them on the bed. I need a hot shower to get rid of the blood and Dave's scent. The shower heats up quickly and I step inside, my black hair flowing freely on my back.
I startle when two strong arms hug me from behind.
Tray lays his chin on my shoulder, the warm water soaking on his curly hair. He holds me for about five minutes, the water dripping slowly from our bodies.
" I'm sorry," He says softly.
I turn and face him.
He leans over and I stand on my tip toes. Our lips connect fiercely, like hungry wolves. I hook my arms over his neck and he raises me up, my legs wrapped tightly around his waist.
The air around us is hot, the shower filled with clouds of cool mist. He pins me on the wall, nipping and kissing my neck like a blood-sucking vampire. Our breaths are heavy as we dive into each other.
The shower somehow washes away our troubles, our sins and most importantly, it washes away Dave's scent.
I sigh with pleasure at the arms of the man I love, the man that holds the key to my heart.
