The Blind Clairvoyant

I walked out of Undertaker's funeral parlor and went back to the ice sculpture contest site. All of the contesters were almost finished with their ice sculptures. I walked to Ciel's side. He noticed and he looked to see who it was. When he realized it was me, he nodded to me in acknowledgement. I smiled and nodded back.

Suddenly there was a very high pitch squeal, follow by a tackling hug into Ciel.

"Ciel!!!" Lizzy screamed while squeezing the life out of Ciel, "I missed you!"

"Lizzy!? What are you doing here?" Ciel asked while trying to peal Lizzy off him.

"Enjoying the Frost Fair obviously!" Lizzy said joyfully, "I also want to get you a birthday present! It is going to be your birthday soon! We need to celebrate, with a ball!"

"No, Lizzy! Not a ball in my manor again. My birthday is in a month and a half, why are you getting a present this early?"

"I just thought that this would be a perfect chance to look for a birthday present!"

"You don't need to get me a birthday present."

"Yes I do! Birthday is an important occasion for everyone!" Lizzy said stubbornly.

I saw A slight hint of sadness in Ciel's expression as he remembered what happened on his birthday three years ago.

"Instead of taking about something so far away, let's talk about something that's gonna happen this evening. There will be a Winter Ball at the Crystal Palace, are you going to attend?" I said changing the subject.

"I have heard of that. Though I am not so sure about the idea of dancing." Ciel said.

"A ball? Sounds fun! Ciel, let go together! It's going to be really fun!" Lizzy begged Ciel.

"Ah, fine. I will attend the ball with you, Lizzy." Lizzy looked overjoyed. "What about you, are you going to the ball?" Ciel turned to ask me.

"Yes, I am. That's why I brought up the subject."

"Do you have somebody to attend with?"

"Yea... I'll actually be going with Undertaker." I said, a bit embarrassed.

"The Undertaker?" Ciel said raising his eyebrows, "I was not previously aware that there is something going on between the two of you."

"No, it's nothing like that! We are just....really good friends. And I've known him for the longest out of you guys after all."

Before Ciel could say anything, a loud voice boomed over the crowd, "We will now begin the judging!"

There was the Scotland Yard team with their sculpture of Arthur Randall, which they were saluting to. It did not get a very high mark. Next was Lau with his team name 'All China Dresses Should Be Minis'. He made a sculpture of naked Ran-Mao but it was disqualified due to 'various reasons'. Next up was Sebastian, team named 'Queen's Puppy'. Lol I'm surprised that Ciel allowed Sebastian to use this name. Sebastian made an incredible sculpture of the Noah's Ark with all sort of animals inside it. Every one was marveled by the grand scale ice sculpture.

The judge with the big nose said to Sebastian, "Bravo, young man! I mark you as a skilled ice sculptor."

"No, sir. I am merely one hell of a butler."

Suddenly someone shouted. It was the bombers group trying to take the ring with the Hope Piece. The leader shouted, "Sorry, but his ring belongs to us. We are taking it back." He then showed the bombs that were strapped around his body. He got a lighter out, "I will count down from ten. if you don't want to die, get the hell out of here! Ten!"
