It took me ages to convince Charles not to charge right up to Ciel's manor, or 'that damned kid' house' as he put it, and just kill him right there and then.
The next day, Undertaker arrived at my manor after my call to collect the body of the assassin, who I still didn't know the name of. He died of shock from all the pain.
"Hehe, what a nice house you have!" Undertaker commented as he entered.
A smile lit up on my face as I hear the familiar laugh of this death god, "I've just come to realized that I in fact do miss your company."
"Hehe." Was all he said. As I led him to the basement I explained what happened.
"An assassin from the little earl?" He asked, tilting his head
I nodded, "That's what the man said before he died but... I'm not so sure about this. It doesn't seem like Ciel. What reason does he have to do it? Also, if he really wanted to kill me, he would just send that butler of his, and I would have no chance at all of coming out alive..." I pondered on all these questions as we walked along the corridors.
We reached the basement level of the manor, and I opened the door, revealing the mangled corpse of the assassin.
"Hehe, what a lovely body! My favorite kind!" Undertaker remarked as he went over to it, wrapped it up in a big cloth, and picked it up onto his shoulders. He effortlessly carried the body back up to ground floor and onto his open carriage. He dumped it into a coffin and shut the lid.
"Can you please inspect the body thoroughly and tell me anything that might be of use?" I asked.
"Of course, dear. Actually, I can do it as soon as I arrive back at the parlour. Do you want to come along with me for some tea as well?" He asked.
I shook my head regretfully, "Unfortunately I can't. The Queen has issued me a case of the Aristocrats of Evil... with Ciel..."
"Hehe, is that so? Well, good luck." He said waving his sleeve-covered hand.
I waved back, "Thank you, and I think I'll be seeing you soon since Ciel often go to you for his cases."
I saw him off and returned back into the manor. I went back to my study and sat in my chair. In front of me laid the cream-colored envelop with the royal seal engraved on the red wax. And inside was the letter that Queen Victoria personally hand-wrote to me, telling me about this new case. Ash delivered it to me yesterday a while after Charles left. I realized with a sinking heart that I'd have to work with Ciel, who might have been trying to kill me for whatever reason.
I shook my head, trying to get those negative thoughts out of my head. After all, this still isn't confirmed yet and for all I knew Ciel might have nothing to do with it at all. I'd just have to bet on that for now. If I remember correctly this is the cult case where Angela tries to 'purify' Ciel and destroys the church building after being captured by Sebastian, Grell, and Will. Oh well, at least I get to see my favorite shinigamis.

I looked over the religious building in front of me as I dismounted from my carriage. The exterior of this Abbey in Preston was less run-down than I thought it would be. I approached the man in some sort of occult uniform standing in front of the entrance to the abbey.
"How might I help you, miss?" The man asked with a kind voice.
"I believe I have an appointment with your leader." I replied.
