A bell rang as I opened the door to Angel's Wing Antiques. Immediately the tune of London Bridge is falling down once again floated into my ears. I looked around and saw that the shop was full of different types of dolls, and also some lanterns.
"Welcome." The music came to a halt as the voice sounded. The owner of the voice has orange hair underneath a black top hat. He wore a lengthy blue tailcoat and was carrying a music box. Drossel Keinz.
"Hello?" I said uncertainly. I don't know how I got here and why I came here in the first place.
"That ring..." Drossel said as he stood up in a mechanical motion.
"Oh this?" I raised my hand showing the Shard of Hope.
He frowned slightly, "Oh? It has chosen you as its owner. And so I think to myself, 'What rare occasion. It has not occurred to me that this cursed stone would ever choose an owner.' "
I gave an awkward laugh, "Yea, what does that mean?"
He tilted his head a bit more than a normal person should be able to, "So I thought to myself, 'What do I do now? I know, I must bring her to Master.' Please will you follow me?"
"...Sure." I followed him to the back of Angel's Wing Antiques. he opened a door and beckoned me in. Through a corridor, a giant castle-like mansion appeared before my eyes. It was an oddly built castle and it gave off an eerie feeling. Drossel came through the corridor after me and shut the door. We walked to the front of the castle and he pushed open the plain double door revealing a dimly lit hall with blue and white ceramic flooring tiles. The walls were of an aqua color and at the other end of the hall was another door. However, what was most peculiar about this room is that there is a single girl stood on a wooden platform in the centre of the room. Her skin was as white as porcelain but as we got closer to her I saw that her eyes looked like eyes of a dead fish.
Suddenly the girl rolled her eyeballs to stared at me without moving her head as I walked pass her. She raised a hand and was about to bring it down on me when Drossel started playing his music box, producing the tune of London Bridge. As soon as she heard the music, she seemed to calm down and she went back to her original standing position.
"What was that?" I asked, a bit startled.
"Fear not. Master will answer all your question." Drossel said without looking at me.
I have an idea of who the 'Master' could be after watching the anime, but I still wasn't quite sure if my guess was right. Well, I'll just have to wait and see.
After continuously walking through countless number of rooms and corridors, we finally arrived at the top room of the mansion. Behind the firm-looking double door, there was a decent sized room with enormous windows all around the room, allowing curtains of moonlight to fall onto the floor. As my gaze follow the silver moonlight, I saw that there was a strange symbol on the grey floor. I squinted, trying to think of what this familiar symbol was, then I remembered. It was the same symbol that was burned onto Ciel's back, the mark of a 'noble beast'.
"We meet again, my pure one." A familiar voice spoken from the dark corner of the room. It startled me and made me jump slightly. Gosh, I seemed to be easily startled lately. A person walked out into the moonlight. As I expected, it was Ash.
"Yes, long time no see." I said sarcastically. We saw each other like half an hour ago.
He chuckled, "I wouldn't expect you to be the one to have picked up the ring. But then once again, you never fail to surprise me."
"Master, I shall be taking my leave." Drossel bowed before he went out of the room and shut the door behind him.
"So how does the ring work? You know, luring people here and stuff?" I asked curiously.
