"Hey! Doing fine there?" I asked chuckling like a kid.
"I'm at dinner with Alex!" Helen spoke shyly.
"Oh! Sorry to bother you but he confess yet?" I jokingly asked but meant it.
"Nope! What do you think you're talking? We're not yet ready for that step yet, girl!" she scolded me. Though I knew she wanted it so much.
"Ahh! Enjoy then... Bye!" I cut off and kept on eating the foods I, actually Kay's, bought.
"Talk to me now?" Kay pleaded me.
"Oh My! It's delicious. Wanna try?"
He nodded happily thinking that I talked to him but no. I put it in my mouth instead.
"See? Tongue says delicious mouth. Eat more than!" I ate more yoghurt!
"Beth! Please, talk to me!" he pleaded again holding my legs. I kicked his head. Dear Gawd! When did I become this serious.
"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't mean it." I caressed his head over and over.
"It was cheek-punched then head-kicked. It's so unfair!" he pouted caring his injuries.
"Don't get that far? It doesn't even got you bruised, dude!" I slapped him once again and he growled.
"This time I won't let you go!" he grabbed my hands and got over my tummy and tickled my waist.
Of course, I hate that the best. And then he was doing it. I tried to get rid of him but I couldn't.
"Kay, stop it!" I laughed hard leaning on the couch.
Suddenly, the door opened and we both stayed still like statue.
"Oh! Mom Dad!" he surprised and got off of me pulling me up.
"Hi! Mr. Anthony. Hi! Ms. Anthony." I greeted them and did back with a wide smile on their faces.
"I thought you will be here in the next 2 months." Kay ran to hug them badly.
"Of course, but we got some works to do here so we come back." Ms. Anthony said smiling, patting her son's head.
"Well, You can just call me Darren and ..." his mom cut.
"And me Karen." they both gave me a satisfied smile.
"Oh! Yes, okay!" I bowed and took waters for them.
"Thanks! So when did you arrive here?" Darren asked.
"Just last morning! Actually, I went back to my old school for a university and came back like 10 am, today!" I chuckled.
"You're beautiful!" Karen said blushingly at her son.
Well! What?
I'm not in the mood to be pretty.
Leave me alone!
I can't! Do this! Okay, Calm!
I never used to talk to older people but now yes. Try!
What should I reply? C'mon brain!
Work! Okay!
"Emm..." I laughed silently. "Thanks!" I said looking up at their face.
"Wah! She's good! No teen girls look at us like that when we comment." Darren laughed.
"So, you can stay here till whenever you want. Take care of him for us, too." Karen pinched my cheeks.
Not again!
"Yes." I nodded carefully.
[My phone rang in a sudden...]
"Sorry!" I went right off the kitchen.
"Take your time!" Kay replied.
A relief to who called me. I got rid of talking I old people.
"Hello?"
"It's me Julia!" The freaking voice blurted out.
"What's with you?" I asked rolling my eyes with annoyance.
"Doubt you would stop acting like that if you listening to what is say, first." she sensed serious that time.
"What's that?" I shouted through the phone, just not to be loud in other to annoy the family reunion.
"Kris is now in the hospital." she spoke out carelessly.
"What?" she turned off before I said anything.
What? Kris in hospital?
Things happened? He never used to be that weak.
C'mon, brain work! I hate him...
Wait! He's my brother.
Beth, please act care, too!
I ran out of the house in enthusiasm to see his freaking death face. Taking Kay's motor. Of course, I know how to ride.
