This week was my last week to meet all of my friends and family. Maybe, we could call family. They were like one of mine already. Today, my party. I called everyone of my close ones for a dinner party. Now that I'm the party's owner I got to get everything ready.
"Morning, Beth!" Kris hugged me an kissed my forehead. "Breakfast?" he asked eating his.
"Where's mine?" I looked around.
"Here!" he got up to the kitchen and had something putting on the table.
"Thank you!" I smiled sitting down. "Aren't you going to the shop early today?" I questioned.
"Nope. Today, I'll be helping you around." he ruffled my hair.
"How about your shop? You're closing it too usual since I came back." he pouted.
"Don't worry! Albert is there already." he smiled again.
"What is this kind of Manager?" I teased him.
"A kind who is generous and loving." he smiled finishing his meal.
"Since when did you start becoming like this. I've never seen you like that." I raised my eyebrow at him, teasingly.
*•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••*
"Hey, there? Finish yet?" I asked Helen.
"A little bit more and I'm done." He replied sweetly.
"Happy to see Alex today?" I pinched her cheeks.
"Uh-I well, normal." she blushed.
"That is normal. If it's hyper then you'll go fooling around the house already then." I laughed at her acting.
"Beth! So, where are the wines that we bought last morning?" Albert shouted from the kitchen.
"Wait! I forgot it in the car. Can you go and take it please?" I pleaded him.
"Argh~ Okay! Hey, remember? Jenny is coming." he blushingly said in quietly into my ear.
"I won't." I smiled poking his forehead.
"Cook is nearly done. When will all those people be arriving?" Kris questioned impatiently.
"I don't know. But the party starts at 6:30 and not it's just 6 pm. Ain't you worry how to tell those people that you're in a relationship with my best friend." Helen teased him hard and shut up until the rest of the people arrived one by one.
The Anthony's, The Joannes's, Jordan, Scarlet, Jenny were all arrived. To see them I'm happy.
"I missed you guys a lot." I hugged Ms and Mr Joannes.
"Hey, forgetting me little idiot." Alex stared at me.
"Of course not." and we hugged warmly.
"Alizabeth!" Karen and Darren called me to them. "Have a safe trip!" they wished.
"Thanks!" and we hugged again.
"So, what do we got here?" Ms. Joannes looked at me.
"Yeah?" I looked back at her in confused.
"Marital Status?" Alex raised his eyebrow, teasing.
"What?" I blankly widened my eyes.
"Did nothing happen?" he asked again.
"Tell me, that you're in a relationship." well that, from Karen, turned everyone facing me.
It was hard to express so I just went blushing and looked down at my plate. Well, really, I didn't know what to do.
"Argh~ fine! Fine!" the stares turned me goosebumps so I decided to say it. "Well, I'm not sure about it yet. Just that that thing is ugh I don't know what to say." I gave up, facing up the ceiling. Helen pat my back.
"Glad if you're happy then. We thought that you called us here just to tell us something big." Kay teased me but his eyes are showing nothing of the feelings he just said. I knew how he felt but I just couldn't take it. Also, I felt the same as him before today happens. It felt like hell. Though, even if I get used to being one-side love I still hurt myself sometimes. So, does he?
"Uh-ah!" I shook my head. "My last day of this holidays and you too" I pointed to Kay. "So meeting before going is good." I chuckled.
"She's right!" he thumbed up at me.
"Let's eat!" I suggested and we started eating and talking about things.
The Dinner party was going well I liked it so much. Everybody were coming and it made me feel so special to nobody else except these importance of mine being so nice to me every times. Karen and Darren had left not including their precious son because they got works to do tomorrow. Everybody stayed watching movies together. Though, the Joannes's wanted to stay with me for the last day that they'll go back after I leave with Kay to work again so they chose to do the rest of the mess after dinner, forcing to go enjoy the kids. I couldn't help but kissed them and went off to the living room.
