"Here, it is!" Kay pulled out something from under his bed. It was so beautiful, scarf like.
"What is it?" Jack looked puzzle.
"Isn't it something you bought last week, Jack?" I questioned.
"I didn't. He did." and he pointed to Kay.
"Me? No, of course not." he shook his head of rejection.
"Who could it be then? Naturally, I wouldn't buy that anyway." I, also, putting my hands up in the air meaning no.
We all looked at each other in silence.
"Wait, I think I remembered something." Kay interrupted.
"What is it?" I asked again.
"I remember him telling me that he bought this for his crush but then rethink and threw it away. So that's it." he made me burst into laughter.
"What the hell is that kind if excuse?" I clutched my stomach hard laying on the cold floorboard.
"Wait!" Jack sounded serious. "I have something." I saw him paced up the bed over his luggage.
"Woah!" that sound of Kay stopped me from laughing, staring at Jack.
"It's brand new." like the thing Kay found, exactly the same, an old one.
I stunned.
"Why you need to take it out?" Kay pointed to that scarf.
It was toe-to-neck length of my body with see-through fabrics, dyed sky blue. He handed it to me. Da Hack! Is that? I can't moved. My body went rigid.
"Why?" only my lips moved. I didn't receive it yet.
"For you, my first sight, before I found out that you two are making out." we, me and Kay, stunned again.
Why a man say it so easily like that? Is he a human, too? Or just some creature from other planet which can just forget things easily like that. No, he's human.
"We did make out. We don't make out." he turned to Jack.
That! I understood what he meant.
Though, I barely heard that. I touched Jack with my both hands if he was real or just my dream.
"What are you doing?" he demanded.
"Checking if you're real." I replied then pinched at his abdomen as hard as I could.
"Gawd! Girl, you gotta decide if even you're in a hallucination." I winced as loud as thunder.
"Okay. You're real." I reassured.
"I was just joking. You believed me?" he burst out laughing.
"Hell! Explain me now, Kay Anthony!" I screamed at him at the last moment that I can't stop Jack from laughter.
"We lied. For fun." and he too laughed beside his lying partner.
I slapped hard in my face. It was freaking awesome a lie.
"You scare the life out of me, dudes!" I finally sat down but not laugh. It still feel so bad as if it's true.
"It's time lets go." he checked his watch and got all luggages pack on the cart.
We took a taxi home. Of course, together, Jack wanna visit my home or Kay's. I didn't know. All I was planning, to take them both over at mine. It would be fun.
We slept during the drive so I couldn't know where I'm reaching any moment until we reach the city again. We woke the moment he stopped the car in front of my lawn. Jack paid it. Again.
