Myths and Legends class, now there is a subject I will never tire of! Sarah and I are already sitting in the amphitheater, waiting for the teacher.

I already had several classes with him, and I must admit that he is rather sexy. For a teacher that is! It was not just his strange amber eyes that attracted me to take his class, but rather what he had to teach us. Well, I admit good eye candy is always a plus!

When he enters the amphitheater, I hear whispers and sighs of rapture. Most of the class is made up of girls who come exclusively to gape at him. He has black hair, often tousled, with blue highlights, and he gives off a wild, almost animal aura, which doesn't go unnoticed. Looking around at all the ogling girls and very few boys,  I was surprised to see Peter taking a seat at the back of the room.

I couldn't help it, his reserved and mysterious side fascinates me! Hoping to catch another glimpse of those emerald eyes and dashing smile I saw just moments ago.

After a few seconds I sigh, a little frustrated. I must have imagined it because right now it seemed more like he was ignoring me, his eyes immersed in a book once again. I bit my lower lip nervously as I wonder why he decided to take this particular course. He's almost the only boy in the room. Yet I notice that the teacher, Sebastian Jones, stares at him for a moment with his predatory eyes. And I couldn't help but think if they knew each other?

Sebastian quickly resumes his course. And all attention is diverted back to the teachers board. This week we're talking about vampires and the myths and legends about them.

Half giddy I rest my elbows on my desk ready to take everything in like a sponge. Vampires, their power of attraction, their mysterious side ... I must admit that all this is fascinating to me.

Professor Jones explains that the exact date of appearance of the myth of vampires, probably in ancient times, isn't known. Vampires have been present in the popular imagination in Europe since the twelfth century. At that time, they were more like walking-dead than bloodsuckers. But it's above all the diseases, like rage for example, and serial killers who popularized the legend making it universal. Apparently, some serial killers in those days drank their victims blood for no particular reason. That's what gave birth to the idea of vampires.

I shudder with excitement at everything out of the ordinary! Excitedly I start scribbling my note. When He then goes to explain that, even if the myth varies from one country to another, vampires still have several common points ... Their need for blood to survive, their longevity, and their lack of appetite for mortal food ...

My writing stops. Strangely, this thought makes me think of the Bartholy brothers ... Anguish envelops my heart. I have been living with them for two weeks and I've never seen them eat any food. Lorie never eats what I prepare for her. Her brothers excuse her by explaining that she's a just very fussy. Which at first didn't really surprise me ... but now? That weird situation may go unnoticed at school, but not if one lives with them every day. Without being able to stop myself I turn to Peter.

He's more expressive than usual. Frowning, he doesn't look happy at all. And at the same time, a glimmer of sadness flickers in his green eyes. Something had agitated him. But What could make him so tense?

While the professor went on explaining that vampires are often seen as monstrous beings, unable to restrain their impulses, Peter gets up abruptly.

He takes his things and head for the exit. When I turned my eyes back to the professor I noticed that Dr. Jones had paused the lecture briefly and had seemingly watched Peter leave. With a smirk, he resumes the course. And I couldn't help but wonder What his was with the Bartholys. There really is something fishy going on!
