Peter Pov

Fuck it! I knew today started out just too good. I stormed out of the classroom.

To say that I was caught off guard was an understatement. Why did I ever enter that girl crazed seist pool in the first place? It was totally stupid of me. I knew all the girls would be swooning over him, like they always did. So I was prepared for that, in part at least. What I wasn't prepared for was his lecture!

The Professors words were like a punch to the gut. His amber eyes glared at me trying to challenge me. I had to get out before something happened to the poor bastard, and everything goes to hell. Not because his words weren't true, because they were. I know I am a monster, but I had felt her eyes on me as if she was putting the pieces together. I couldn't take it, couldn't take her look. I could see it in her eyes she was putting pieces together. If she knew.... I shoved the thought into the back of my head. I didn't want to think about it. I didn't want to deal with any of this anymore.

It wasn't until I reached the library that my fast paced slowed. Quickly I flipped out my phone and texted Drogo that I needed to hunt tonight. Nicolae wants to regulate our huntings to avoid unwanted attention, which I am normally all for. Anything to keep us hidden.

Drogo, ofcourse, doesn't always listen Nicolaes reasonings and that was what I was counting on, I needed it. After confirming with Drogo, I quickly found my usual table and threw my backpack half heartedly with a thud. The old librarian only looked briefly up to see who it was. Upon recognition, she quickly went back to her reading her Fifty Shades with a H.P. coverback.

Settling down, I picked up my black book of notes. If I was going to be grounded anywhere at school it might as well be the library. It was quiet, and better yet, I had yet to see her here.

Quickly I let my fingers graze the covers until my fingers caught on something that could hold my interest.

No matter what era books, especially poetry had been a favorite pastime of mine. Conveying words into musical pieces was something I once had a passion for and ... shared.

I was left alone, in peace, for long time before someone walked up and stood next to me.

Drogo - "You should know better then to go to the cafeteria with a dirty shirt."

"It WAS clean this morning."

I emphasised the was to show my annoyance but in reality I was more annoyed with the fact that Lorie had managed to make two lateral stains.

I took a deep mental sigh before getting up. School was over and It was time to head home. If the fates were kind I wouldn't see her before tomorrow. Drogo was busy talking about his weekend plans as we headed off when I caught a glimpse Zeva. She was talking to... Loan?! I stopped. I couldn't believe it. Why would they be talking?

Drogo - "Well isn't that our little one. Let's listen in?"

Drogos voice is low and challenging, making me clench my fists trying to ignore it. I barely acknowledge Drogos mischievous smile as I followed his lead into the shadows. We stayed hidden just within hearing range.

Zeva - "For now, I feel good, the university is fantastic, and Sarah helps me feel at home."

Her words are enough to give me a whiplash of mixed emotions, but before I could sort any of them out I heard Loans respons.

Loan - "If you want I can give you a tour. I've lived here since I was little. I could show you secret and intimate places ... "

I saw red. I wanted to rip his head off and drain every drop. Slowly I stalked my prey when I was suddenly pinned against the tree by Drogo. Effectively snapping me out of it.

"Fuck!"

I hissed. Everything came crashing down on me. What I was. What I was about to do. I have never felt this way before. Feeling my fangs, I quickly retracted them.

Drogo - "Fuck, doesn't begin to cover it Peter! We need to get you out of here!"

Drogo hissed back at me, and I nodded for him to let me go. He quickly took off towards the forest. I was just about to follow when I couldn't help but hear the last part of Ziva and Loans conversation.

Ziva "See you!"

Her words were like a piano cord breaking. She had said "See you.", I hadn't misheard. So she agreed to see him? Of Course she would, Ziva fell for his charms... After all there is a reason why Loan gets away with more than half of the crap he does.

Just dwelling on it was enough to get my blood boiling, so I sped off after Drogo. Once I caught up to him I noticed there was something on his face, something I haven't seen on him in awhile. Worry. Only when we were done in the woods, and the moon had risen high up did we get back from the manor.

Drogo - "Ready to go face some music?"

I grimaced at his words as I pushed open the door revealing an grumpy Nicolae. He was leaning over the pool table ready to break when we entered.

Nicolae -"Want to explain why I had to scramble in order to pick up Lorie today?"

I shrugged not feeling like talking about it. I was still trying to figure that out myself. Beside Nicolae was looking at Drogo for answers anyway, it didn't even cross his mind that I could be the cause. Unfortunately Drogo is and never will be subtle.

Drogo- "Loan Huxley is a dick. And Peter almost fanged him!"

He practically burst out with that last part. I shot a look at Drogo, who quickly threw up his arms in a fake surrender. Only the amazement in his tone and eyes showed. Like a great Cheshire Cat.

(Hey, I have my own reasons in wanting to drain the guy. But I never figured you would try to beat me to it.) - Drogo

I ignored Drogos taunts and poured myself a drink. Taking an exasperated sigh Nicolae returned his focus on his game and we both grabbed our cues, joining in.

Nicolae - "I got first, Peters next. If your going to lie at least try and put some effort in it next time."

"Actually Nicolae, that is exactly what happened. "

Nicolae almost scratches sending the white ball flying off the pool table and into my hand. His face in full shock.

Nicolae - "Explain."

I placed the ball down on the pool table and took aim.

"I'm not sure."
