Peter Pov:

Nicolae - "She has to go!"

"She wants to stay."

Nicolae - "No. The timing seems too perfect. She knows what we are! She could be..."

"She isn't..."

I said with a semi clenched jaw muscle, unable to finish. Nicolae was being stubborn and unreasonable. He knew it. I knew it. Despite of everything Nicolae always took matters of our families safety very serious. But this discussion had been going on for hours now, and dawn was approaching at a lightning pace. Crossing his arms, Nicolae leaned back in his chair. His eyes firmly scrutinizing me. I could feel him trying to prob my mind but I had my walls up, effectively blocking him out. Giving off an unsatisfied huff, he retracted his mind.

Nicolae - "You're not making any sense, Peter! First you want her to leave and now you want her to stay?!"

I cross my arms as I leaned my back against the wall. Mimicking Nicolaes own frustrated pose. It was all I could do in order to stay calm.

"Actions have consequences. You're the one that insisted that she stayed! You cannot just change your mind because it is suddenly inconvenient. And don't go poking where your not wanted either!"

I almost spat back. Nicolae stared at me in disbelief, keeping me on edge. I had tried my best not to let it affect me, but Zevas would wake soon and this needed to be resolved before then.

Nicolae had not taken the news of her knowing, very well. He was ready to make her disappear! Disappear somewhere, where I'd have no chance of ever finding her again. I took a glanced over at Drogo, who hadn't said a word since Nicolae had arrived back at the manor. He was standing in the doorway to the kitchen looking from me to Nicolae and back again, a relished glint lingering in his eyes. Drogo rarely had the deciding vote, needles to say I think he was enjoying it.

Drogo - "Nic admit it, you like having her here. So does Lorie. Hell! Even I like the little one! If she wants to stay, she can have my vote. Besides, I think Peter might get along better with her now that she knows."

Nicolae huffed slightly in displayed irritation, but I did note a slight softening in his posture. I shot Drogo a questioning look, trying to figure out what he was up to. His eyes gleamed back with an unspoken mischief, telling me more than I needed to know.

Nicolae - "Fine. She can stay. There's been soothing presence in the house since she arrived. Despite Peter's sudden mishaps. But we will have to extra precautions for awhile."

"Of course "

Drogo - "Definitely."

We all nodded in unison finally agreeing on something.

Nicolae- "Willingly or otherwise, we have to make sure she doesn't expose us. With our uninvited company, she could very easily become a target."

Drogos eyes and mine instantly changed red as we both letting out an instinctual growl. For various reasons of course. We do not tolerate hunters in our territory. It wasn't just primal survival but history. They always brought with them all sorts of unwanted attention. And attention was something we'd all wanted to avoid. I nodded in agreement, trying to seem less possessive then I felt. An urge to see if Ziva was safe, popped into my head, and my mind drifted towards her room. I would not let any harm befall her.

The sound of a floorboard creaking upstairs alerted us that Ziva was no longer in her room but out and about.

Nicolae - "Well. Since she is looking for me, I'll tend to her questions. "
