Change of Plans

Being the lonely pent up anger guy I was for a while, I was left on my own again to think about what new approaches I should be taking. The end of the year, June was coming up. And, I honestly felt lost for many reasons. One, Casey was not with me and hanging out with my least favorite people in the whole fucking school that I wished I could kill right then and there. Two, the new map was done but it looked like chicken scratch. But then, I thought of making another form of the map. Not to only take me on a quick tour of the school before it perished, but to hopefully capture Casey and film her to always remember how much I loved her.

One day, after school, I went to a pawn shop to buy a camera. This is perfect! Exactly what I needed. Once getting inside however, was rather uncomfortable.
"If it isn't our favorite local troublemaker." The woman says behind the desk, and a few men inside the shop turn my way and laugh.
"Cut the shit Brenda." I snapped.
"Do you have any cameras?" I asked, trying not to get overworked.
"Oh I get it." An old guy gets my attention.
"Because you like shooting things!" He yells, making everyone laugh hysterically. I could fill my fists physically balling up, I wanted to kill someone already.
"Very funny assholes!" I shout, my face going red.
"I'll take you to them sniper boy." Brenda says, walking me over with the key to a collection of technology. Once opening the glass cabinet, I immediately found the one I wanted.
"That one." I pointed at this Canon camera with huge lenses.
"Okay." She says, grabbing it and bringing it up front to pay for it. Being somewhat of a good boy today, I bought the damn camera rather than running away with it.

The walk home was difficult. It felt as heavy as a fucking baby, and that's saying a lot because babies are fat.

Finally arriving home, I was carrying the bag through the living room to get to my room as always. Dad, was obviously drinking and watching TV on the lazy boy.
"What the fuck is that!?" He shouts, I ignore.
"Answer me God damn you!" His yelling means nothing, I just made sure to slam the door behind me. He never gave up though, and just stood outside of it and banged on it repeatedly getting more frustrated.
"I swear to all hell Ryan fucking Glantis if you do not open this God damn door right now!" His voice was that of pure anger.
"Leave me alone you crazy fat fuck!" I screamed.
Seconds later, my door was kicked down and there my old man was.
"No. More. Door." His face was red, and then he calmly walks away.
"Oh! I forgot!" He yells, comes back into the room and punches me square in the face. I shook it off, as usual just pulling out my camera and putting it together the way I wanted until late that night before I fell asleep next to it.

When I woke up, I noticed that I was cuddling the camera like I did Casey on the rooftop. Hell, even my lips were practically kissing the damn thing. I've been thinking about her, 24/7. Today was the day I decided to get her back, for good.

Going to School, I saw Casey talking to a theater geek again when I came up from behind.
"Casey!" I grabbed her.
"Ryan?" She turned around slowly.
"Excuse me?" The theater girl had a little nerve to get sassy with me.
"This is not about you." I told her straight to her face.
"Ryan.. I?" Casey looked as if she was trying to talk, but couldn't.
"You look so.." I didn't know what was about to come, but couldn't hold myself together much longer before I interrupted with a passionate kiss.
"Happy..?" She says and smiled as I pulled away. I couldn't help it, I was so excited to see all of the sudden.
"You fucking bet I am!" I shout excitedly.
"Why?" She asks, which only tempted me to pull her away from the geeks even quicker.
"I have something to show you!" I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my safe place again, the obvious courtyard.
"Ryan! We need to.." I didn't even bother to listen, pulled out the camera and started recording her beautiful face.
"Just like that! Beautiful." I whispered to myself while looking into the lens. Casey folded her arms, feeling unimpressed clearly.
"What's the matter with you all of the sudden?" She asks, and I put the camera down to tell her something to her face.
"Things are going great.. That's all I have to say." Then I pulled the camera right back out to film her, before walking around the courtyard with it.
"I'm sorry for.." Casey tries talking again, but I honestly just want to move on from all that.
"Forget about that now." Then I turned the recording back on her.
"We're good then?" She asks, which confused me at first.
"What do you mean?" I asked sincerely.
"Do you still love me?" She grinned into the camera, and I couldn't help but explode with happiness.
"Every single fucking day of my life." That made her laugh, which is my favorite thing to make her do. But of course, precious moments with my love don't last for long when we're at School, because the kids there have to always ruin it. That bitch that also gave me lip in the hallway, just had to come in the courtyard at this time.
"Hun? What are you doing!?" She shouts. But instead of losing my cool, my first reaction to get up close and personal with the camera.
"I'll tell you what I'm doing." I walk closer, adjusting the lenses as I walked slowly.
"We are going to have ourselves a party in about a month." I said. And at this point, I really didn't care because no one was going to figure out what I meant.
"What are you talking about?" She obviously would say. I smirked, getting ahead of myself because I was in such a great fucking mood.
"Just stand there and look into the camera." I began to zoom in with my somewhat steady hand.
"What kind of project are you doing?" I hear Casey ask.
"I can't wait to show you Casey. It's gonna be amazing." I had the biggest yet most discreet smile on my face.
"Get that outta my face Ryan!" The girl yelled, but the red light never stopped blinking.
"Ryan?" I heard Casey's voice faintly behind me.
She sounded concerned, to say the least. Her voice, simply made me turn around to look at her delicate face that is the center of my universe.
"Please." She was mouthing and begging me to stop. I finally nodded, and put the camera down to stop recording for a while.
"Whatever." I uttered. Then, turned back to the girl. I walked up beside her, and whispered in her ear before leaving the courtyard.
"There's plenty more footage where that came from." Then, I finally walked out with my bag and camera.
