Despite all the drama and powerful makeouts, I still had the musical performance to prepare for. I had little to no information about it, and even at one point felt more useless when I just couldn't ask Ivy. She knew just about everything there was to know about theater production every year, but I couldn't rely on her for any more secret information that might help me this year. Instead, I decided to seek the theater kids for help.

It was one day at lunch break when it was the only point and time and I could find them, and Ryan came up to me practically dragging me into the courtyard.
"Ryan!" I shouted.
"What!?" He says while letting go of my arm.
"I have to go to the Music room this lunch." I said, and the look on his face completely changed.
"For the musical..?" He said trying not to look worked up.
"Yes Ryan, for the musical." Then I smiled at him as he leaned his head down, put I put my hands on his face and lifted it up to gently kiss him.
"Is that okay with you? Just for today?" I asked while still holding his face, then he reaches up and grabs my hand.
"Just for today." He says while trying to smile back.
"Thanks!" I yelled, than skipped right to the Music room down the hallway.

Upon my arrival, they must've already been waiting for me. Because a lot of them had been standing by the door, with script in hand.
"Casey! You came!" That one girl who had warned me of Ryan had stood there, yet jumped up to hug me.
"Hello!" I said while letting go, and she grabbed my hands.
"We've got your script!" She says, but then a boy appeared out of nowhere holding it before telling me something I'd never forget.
"You got the lead! Congrats!" Everyone claps and cheers while screaming my name.
"I can't believe you finally decided to do this!" Another girl says out of the corner of my eye.
"Well I mean, I promised right?" I said.
Then, I saw Ryan fall in through the front doors stumbling over. Once that happened, the kids immediately stopped cheering and the room went dead silent. Most of them actually hid behind me.
"Sorry babe.. I just fell." Then he looks over my shoulder while smiling, but it was his malicious smile again. Not the sweet and charming smile he normally gave me.
"What are you doing here?" One of the boys say.
"Me?" He points at himself, before walking straight over to him. And you could see the terror in his eyes as he did, slowly inching closer to the door.
"You got a problem with me?" He whispers in his face with a threatening tone.
"Okay I think that's enough maybe you should just.." I couldn't even finish saying what I was gonna say before he cut me off.
"Go!?" He said loudly.
"Umm.." I gulped.
"I'm not important enough to you? That you have to run off with these skeleton motherfuckers!" He shouts.
"Excuse me!?" I yelled back, and he picked up and chair and tossed it to the side before getting up in my face.
"That is enough! Leave this room effective immediately!" The one boy says.
"Leave this room effective immediately.." Ryan mimics him in the most childish way, before getting back in my face.
"I love you so fucking much." He whispered before kissing the tip of my nose.

Shortly after he left the room, I apologized for his behavior. The girl who warned me about him previously, had to talk to me in private. So, we went inside the prop closet of the Music room away from the students.
"You are still with him!" She shouts.
"Yeah." Was all I could say.
"Did you see how crazy he is! I'm terrified of him!" She cries, and all I felt like doing was protecting him.
"You really shouldn't be! He puts on this big bad front, but he's a sweetheart once you get to know h-" I got cut off.
"We've known him longer than you have Casey!" She yells with pure anger and fear that has been clearly built up.
"I'm afraid he might kill somebody!" She shouted.
"What!? No!" I yelled very madly.
"He may get in fights here and then, but he doesn't have the guts to kill somebody!" I yelled in immediate defence.
"Now let me out of here so I can rehearse please!" Then I stood up and made my way out with her behind me.

Half an hour later, all is said and done. Lunch is over and I make my way out before that same girl from the closet puts her hand on my shoulder.
"Don't forget about what I said." She whispers in a shaky voice to my ear, but I just shake her off and leave the room to quickly look for Ryan before heading to Physics. Didn't take long though, because I bumped into him in the hallway.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"Class!" He said with his charming smile now finally back.
"Actually?" I ask.
"Yes! Why?" He was acting as if he didn't remember his outburst from earlier.
"I'll talk to you later." I said, then walked faster to make it upstairs to class.
