Ch. 6 A room mate.

(Echo pov)
"Echo." Some one said as they rub my back. I look over and see Asher. "Yes Master?" I ask. "Chloe's a sleep." He said. I sit up. "Yes Asher?" I ask. He pulls me into a hug and I cuddle with him. "Sorry I just wanted to make sure you're ok." Asher said. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" I ask. "I just had a bad dream and I need to hold some thing other than Chloe for a little while." Asher said. "Ok." I said. Asher hugs me and I rest my head on his chest. He rubs my back and I close my eyes. Eventually he put me back to sleep in his arms.

When I woke up, I'm laying down with a blanket on me and a pillow under my head. I look at the bed and see Asher working on some thing. Chloe seems to still be a sleep. I sit up and stretch. Asher looks at me and smiles. I lower my head in submission. I may seem calm around him. But I'm terrified. I don't want to slip up and he hurt me. "Echo go get a shower real quick." Asher said. "Yes Master." I said. I quickly got a shower and got dressed. I went to the window sill and sat down. I bring my feet up with me and hold my knees close to my chest. Chloe is a wake now and she is working on some thing beside Asher. I look out the window and I see the woods. I miss the woods. "Echo." I hear and my head snaps to Asher. They are at the door. "We are going to eat. Stay here. I will order you some thing later." Asher said. I nod and they left. I look back out the window for a while. After a good while, there's a knock at the door. I got up and went over. I open the door and see Chloe. I let her in because her stuff is in here. Then I close the door. "Echo." Chloe said. "Ma'am?" I ask. "You know I was wondering what you tast like." Chloe said as she approached me. I become petrified with terror. I back into the wall. "I think I might have a tast." Chloe said. "I don't think Asher would mind do you?" She asks. "Maybe you should ask Master first." I said. "Oh he won't care." Chloe said. She trapped me. "Master wouldn't like this." I said. "Sure. But I would rather him be mad than him say no." Chloe said. She grabs me to hold me still and sinks her fangs in my neck. I hear her purr with satisfaction. But I want to be a good pet so I push her off me and I fall to the ground weak from blood lose. "You little brat." Chloe screeched. I didn't even notice she has the whip until then. "If I have to be the one to whip you in to shape for Asher then so be it." She said as she raised the whip and hit me. I whimper and she keeps hitting me over and over again. A few minutes later Asher comes in and he looks shocked. I'm in a ball crying and my neck is still bleeding. "Oh hello Asher you kinda caught me in the middle of this so let me finish." Chloe said and went to hit me again. But the pain never came. I look up and see Asher has the end of the whip in his hand. "You are not allowed to beat my pet." Asher growled. "But Asher." Chloe started. "No Chloe! Stay out of my room. You can come back but just stay out of here until tonight. So I can cool down and tend to my pet." Asher said. "Fine."  Chloe said. She sent me a glare and left. She pulled the door shut behind her and Asher looks at me. "I'm sorry Master." I whine. He picks me up and set me on the bed. He bends down to my neck and licks where Chloe bit me. The bleeding stopped and Asher looks at me. "What happened?" He asked. He sat beside me and rapped his arms around me. "I was sitting at the window sill and then there's a knock at the door. It was Chloe. She did some thing and then told me she wanted a taste. I tried to tell her to ask you but she wouldn't listen. When she bit me I pushed her away and she started to whip me." I said and whipped my eyes. Pet master would beat me if I cry. So I hold my tears in. Asher hugs me and he looks at my back. "I'm sorry Master I was just trying to be a good pet." I said. "Echo baby it's ok. But you aren't my pet. You're my girl friend remember?" Asher asks. I nod. Honestly I had forgotten in the heat of the moment but then he reminded me. He rocks me back and forth for a while. "I need to talk to Chloe. I'll be back in a little." Asher said. I nod and he left. I got up and went to the window. I sit down and just watch the woods for a while. Then Chloe and Asher come in. The sun is starting to set. "Bed time." Asher said. They got ready for bed and as they went to bed I went to the couch. "Where do you think you're going?" Asher asked. "The couch." I said. "No. Come here." Asher said. I went to him and he pulled me into his lap. I yelp when he does and then I cower. But Asher just lays me down beside him and he lays down. He rapped his arms around me and fell a sleep. I sit there for a while. "Echo." Chloe said as she reached out to me. I flinch and she stops. But after she ran her hand through my hair and made me look at her. I shake with fear. "You hurt my chance with Asher so now you are going to make up for it. Got it?" She asked. I nod. "Ye-yes ma'am." I stutter. "Good. Your task is simple. Convince Asher to date me." Chloe said. "But he won't listen to me I'm just his pet." I said. "Well I want you to try." She started and paused to rap her hand around my neck. "Or I will kill you." She growled. "Oh and not one word about this to Asher or you die." She added in a growl. I nod. "Yes ma'am." I said and she smiled. "Good. Now sleep tight." She said and let go of me. Eventually I fell a sleep.

I woke up and Chloe isn't there. Asher is still a sleep. I try to wiggle from his grip but he tightens his grip on me. "Sorry Master I didn't mean to wake you." I said. "It's fine." Asher said from behind me. "Can I please get up?" I ask. "No." Asher said. Then Chloe comes out of the closet. "Echo move." She said. I try to move but Asher won't let me. Chloe groans. "Why are you letting her on the bed any way?" Chloe asked sounding angry. I shake with fear and Asher hugs me. "Look Chloe if you have a problem with how I treat my pet then you take it up with me not Echo." Asher said. "I don't have a problem with how you treat your pet. I have a problem with your pet." Chloe said. "What's the problem?" Asher asked. I'm not sure I want to know. "She's to clingy to you." Chloe said. I hear Asher laugh a little. "She isn't the clingy one." He said through laughing. "What's so funny?" Chloe asked. "The fact you think she's clingy when I'm the one not letting her up." Asher said. Chloe sent me a glare. "Master may I please go get ready?" I ask. He lets go of me. I got up and got dressed in the closet. When I came out, Chloe is cuddling with Asher. Asher is looking at me. "Well I have stuff I need to do. I'll see you later pumpkin." Chloe said and kissed Asher's cheek. Asher's nose crunched up and I could tell he didn't like that. Chloe left and Asher sat up. He got some documents off the night stand and started to read them over. "Echo come here baby." Asher said. I went to him and he pulled me into his lap. He holds me so I'm sitting up and facing away from him. He rest his chin on my shoulder as he looks over the documents. "Asher?" I ask a little bit later. "Hm?" He asks as he looks at me. Showing he's listening. "I think you should break up with me and go out with Chloe." I said slowly and backed away in fear of getting hurt. He pulled me back to him and kissed my cheek. "Why do you think that?" He asked. "She just seems better for you." I said. He chuckles. "What did she say to you?" Asher asked. "What?" I ask. "I know Chloe talked to you last night after I fell a sleep. What did she tell you?" Asher asked. "Nothing. She's just a better girl friend than I am." I said. He snickers and cuddles with me. "Not happening sweet heart." He said as he moved me so my head is under his chin and he rested his chin on my head. "Did she threaten you?" Asher asked. I remember Chloe told me not to tell Asher so I shake my head no. "Good." He said.

He finished working on the documents. He set them down as he sighed and rapped his arms around me. He yawned. He has spent all day on those documents and now the sun is setting. He buried his face in my hair and yawned again. "Bed time as soon as Chloe gets back." Asher said. "Ok." I said. I'm scared for when Chloe gets back. I'm scared she'll be mad that I failed. Then Chloe comes in and I start to move but Asher won't let me. "You're sleeping with me got it?" He asks. "But wouldn't you rather cuddle with Chloe?" I ask. Asher chuckles as he lays me down and lays down beside me. He rapped his arms around me. I'll take that as a no. He fell a sleep. Chloe is laying down beside me. I shake with fear as she lifts my chin. "Any luck?" She asked. "No ma'am. I'll try harder." I said. "Don't worry these things take time." Chloe said. "How much time are you giving me?" I ask. "Two weeks. If you haven't succeeded by then I will rip your throat out." She growled in my face. I nod and she let go of me. "Sleep tight." She said. She fell a sleep and eventually so did I.
