Ch. 32 Kiss or death.

(Echo pov)
We got home and we got out. I was meet by Asher. "I hate to do this but Luke is demanding to see you. Do you want to go?" He asked. I shake my head no and he took my hand. We went to the living room and we sit down. Asher pulled me into his lap and I cuddle with him. Then Barren comes in. "Asher Chloe wants to see you." He said. "Ok. Echo go to our room and I'll be there in a little bit." Asher said. I nod and went to his room. I close the door and start for the bathroom. Then I hear the door open and close. I turn on the spot and see Chloe's older brother, Darren. I freak out and he looks at me worried. "Are you ok Echo?" He asked. I nod and he came over. He raps his arms around me and holds me to him. "Good. Now if you struggle against what I'm about to do then I will kill you." He growled. I nod a little. To scared to disobey. Then his lips hit mine and I push against him. I pound at his chest and he growls. I keep going though. Then he growls and digs his claws in my back. It really hurt so I stop and close my eyes. Tears runs down my face and then we hear the door burst open. I push off of Darren and see Asher. I ran to Asher's side and hold on to him. He rapped his arm around me and growled at Darren. "If you ever touch my girl friend again I will destroy you." Asher growled and threw a dagger at Darren. Darren dodged it and disappeared. Asher turned to me and I take a few steps back from him. He comes to me though and raps his arm around me. "What happened?" He asked softly. "Are you mad?" I ask. "Yes but not at you. I could never again be mad at you." He said. "He came in and asked if I was ok. I nod and he comes to me. He rapped his arms around me and said if I struggle against what he was about to do then he would kill me. So I nod and he kissed me. I struggle against him and he growls. I keep struggling. Then he growls and digs his claws in my back. So I stop struggling and then you came in." I said, shaking with fear a little. "Ok. Sh sh baby. It's ok. You're safe now and will stay that way." Asher said softly. I grip his shirt and bury my face in his chest. He runs his hand through my hair a few times and whispers comforting words softly in my ear. I calm down after a while and Asher hugs me. I rap my arms around his neck and hug back. "Are you ok?" Asher asked. "I think so yeah. But would you check my back in case his nails cut me?" I ask. He kissed my forehead. "Of course. Turn around." He said. I turn around and he lifts my shirt. "There are some marks but luckily for him no cuts." Asher said. I cuddle with Asher. "Let's go watch tv." He said. I nod and we went to the living room. He made popcorn and we sit down. Asher has his legs on the couch and pulls me into his lap. Then the rest of his family comes in. Abigail went to sit beside Asher and Asher pulls his feet to him. "Are you guys ok?" Asher asked. "No. We found Darren on castle grounds trying to get in. So we locked him up." Barren said and I tense. "Good." Asher said. "What?" Chase asked. "Chloe was a distraction. When I got back to my room I saw Darren kissing Echo." Asher said. Every one looks at me. "I only went with it because he threatened to kill me if I didn't." I said. "Well then. He's not as smart as he looks." Felipe said. "So I was wondering could we camp out here tonight?" Abigail asked. "Yes please." Asher said. "You kids can. I'm going to my bed." Barren said. "Oh come on honey. Let's do just once." Amelia said. "Fine we all can camp out here for tonight." Barren said. "Yes!" All the kids said at once. Except me. I stay quiet. Then Duke and Aztec come in. They sit beside Asher's spot on the couch and whimper. "What?" Asher asked. They tug on my pants leg. "I think they want me." I said. They bark. "Nope can't have her. She's mine." Asher said. They growl. "No." Asher said. They whine and lay down in defeat. Asher put his hands behind his head and sighed with satisfaction. Every one looks at the tv and we watch for a while. Then a note falls in my lap and Asher picks it up. After he reads it, he becomes pale. He hands it to Felipe who hands it to Chase and then their parents. Then Abigail. Then me. It says: you think you escaped me and caught me. But this is only the beginning. I become scared. Asher raps one arm around me and kissed my head. Then a guard comes in. "Luke got out." He said and I shake with fear. "Search the castle and find him immediately." Barren growls. The guard nods and left. I shake and Asher rubs my back. I calm down a little as he looks around. "What will we do?" Asher asked. "Secure the castle. Protect another at all cost. Especially Echo." Barren said sternly. We all nod and I put a force field around every one in the room. Including my self. We go back to watching tv. One by one Asher and his family fall a sleep, then Duke and Aztec. But I can't sleep. I'm to scared. So I slide out of Asher's arms and went to the window. I look out the window at the night sky. I hear the pack howling and I whimper. I'm so scared that I can't think straight. I can't sleep. I watch the night sky for a while. "Echo?" I hear Asher asked. "Over here." I said. He got up and came over to me. He rests his hands on my arms. I hold my arms to my chest and cuddle with him. "Are you ok?" Asher asked. "I can't sleep." I pout, pushing out my bottom lip. He chuckles and kissed my forehead. "Hey it's ok baby. Luke can't touch you. I promise." Asher said. "I know. With your over protective nature nothing can get near me." I said. He chuckles and kissed my forehead. "Come on let's go to bed." He said sleepily. He pulls me over to the couch as he yawns and sits down. He holds his feet close to him and I move Abigail so she is leaning on Asher's legs. Asher pulls me into his lap and holds me close. He raps his arms around me and snuggles with me. I snuggle up to him. He puts a blanket on me. In a matter of seconds Asher was a sleep and then I see a dark figure in the shadows. It gets closer and I see Luke. I shake with fear. "Hello Echo. If you come quietly then I will be nice. If you put up a fight then I will do much worse than what Asher did to you those two months." Luke said. "I would rather die then go with you." I said. He growled and Asher woke up. Luke disappeared. "Echo did you say some thing?" Asher asked still half a sleep. "I saw Luke." I said and he sat up. He called guards in and they quietly search for Luke. When they were done they moved on. After a while, one came in. "We got him and locked him up." He said. "Good. Now keep him there." Asher said. The guard left and Asher layed down again. But one arm stayed around me. He got settled and he held me close. "Go to sleep baby." He whispers and after a few minutes I fell a sleep.
