Ch. 35 Another red moon.

(Echo pov)
The red moon started hours ago and Asher is still resisting his instincts. He got big black feather wigs this time and I think they're beautiful. He is pacing back and forth in front of the door. He told me to sit on the couch and stay quiet. So that's what I'm doing. Then he sits on the bed and moves his wigs so he can lean on the head board comfortably. "Asher." I said and he growls. "Be quiet." He growled. I swallow hard and think I have to help him. So I got up and made my way to the bed. He growls and I bite my cheek hard enough to make it bleed. I hold the blood in my mouth and sit beside Asher. He folds his wigs around him self like a cage. I go to him and move them apart. He is pushing against the head board, head turned and eyes closed. I sit in his lap and make him look at me. He gives me a look that says don't you dare. Then I kiss him in the lips and let him taste the blood. Then he flips me so I'm under him and his hands on my wrists, holding me down. Asher bites in to my neck and sucks my blood. It didn't take long for the darkness to surround me and all went black.
(Asher pov)
I can feel my instincts being satisfied. But with what? Wait! I know this taste. It's Echo. I immediately lick the wound and heal it. Then I look at her, unconscious. "Echo wake up. Please Echo wake up." I plead. When she doesn't wake up and I rest my head on her chest and cry for a while. After a while I feel some one run their hand through my hair and I look at Echo. I see she's awake. "What's wrong?" She asked. I just hug her and she hugs me. I cuddle with her. "I'm so sorry baby." I whisper. "Why? I wanted you to drink from me." She said. "Why?" I ask. "I could see you were in pain and I don't like it when you're in pain." She said as she cuddles with me and buried her face in the crook of my neck. I cuddle back. "Thanks." I whisper and she smiles. Then I catch her looking at my wigs. "You like them?" I ask. She seems a little startled by being caught looking at my wigs. "Yeah. They're besutiful." She said as she starts to run her fingers along my wigs. I kiss her cheek and lay down so she can get a better look. She examines my wigs as she runs her fingers along my wigs and makes patterns with her fingers. Then she sees my mark. "What's that?" Echo asked. "It's called a mark. All vampires have one and every vampire's mark is different." I said. She traced my mark with a look of curiosity on her face. It's adorable. I chuckle. "What?" Echo asked. "The look of curiosity on your face. It's adorable. It's adorable the way you find even the smallest thing interesting." I said. "Well I lived in a cage for most of my life. I don't see a lot of stuff." She said. I turn on my side and pull her down to me. "I know. I just find it adorable the way you explore the world around you." I said and she turns over to face me. She cuddles up to me and I kiss her head. "So that kiss." I start and her cheek turn bright red. I laugh a little. "That was just to get you to drink from me." She said quickly and I kiss her lips. Her arms rap around my neck and Echo pushed forward. She closed her eyes and I close my eyes. Then I pull away and we half open our eyes. "I really didn't mind the kiss." I whisper and kiss her again. We close our eyes. Then after a few minutes Echo pulls away and cuddles up to my chest. I look at her and kiss her head. "Get some sleep baby." I said. "Just promise me one thing. We only kiss when we are in your room." Echo said. "What ever makes you comfortable." I said and she cuddles up to me again. After a few minutes, I sense some thing coming or three some things. I got up and So did Echo. "Stay behind me." I said. She nods and I stretch my wigs out to the full extent. I get in a ready to fight position and then Chase comes in. I growl. "Relax I drank blood." He said and I lighten up. "And so has Felipe but we may have a problem." Chase said. "What?" I ask walking to them. Echo stayed close to me. "I may have killed Luke." Chase said. Then Felipe throws a human body on the ground and he moans. They close the door and Echo gasp. She got behind me. But she is still peeking around me at the body. "That's Luck alright. Why is this a problem?" I ask. "If he followed us who knows how many people that work for him have followed us to." Chase said. "Ok. You will lock him up. I will stay with Echo." I said. They nod and drag the body away. I turn to Echo and she is shaking with fear.  I hug her and she calms down. She gripped my shirt and buried her face in my chest. "Sh baby it's ok. Nothing will hurt you I promise." I said softly and she calms down a lot. "Go sit on the bed and I will join you." I said. She did as told and I lay down in front of her. Her attention immediately went to my wigs and she messes with my wigs like earlier. I sigh with relief. My goal was to get her attention on some thing else and I succeeded. "Are you sure I'm not bothering you?" Echo asked. "I'm sure. This is actually fun. Just watching you explore it's fun an it's adorable." I said. "You think every thing I do is adorable." She said. "Because you are naturally adorable." I said as I turn on my side and hug her. She cuddles with me and then some one bangs on the door. "Asher please some guards are after us. We've had blood." I gear Anna say through the door. "Come on." I said. We sit up and I let my legs hang over the edge. Echo sits criss cross on the bed. Anna and Emma come in and close the door. They lock it to. "Come sit in the bed." I said. They do and I went to the bathroom. "Echo." Ann said. I peek around the door as Echo looks at her. "We are sorry." Ann said. Echo nods a little. I smile to my self and did what I had to do. Then I went to the girls. "Get some sleep girls." I said. Ann and Emma move and Echo got up and went to the window seat and layed down. I look at the other to and they're a sleep. Then I look at Echo and she's a sleep. I pull my chair over to her and sat down. I play phone while I wait for the sun to come.
